Their QB is really good. They have a very solid go to WR and some serious speed with Reid and turner - both guys that can easily get the corner on outside runs (something VT killed us on). If our back 7 play isn’t on point, they could break some long runs.

On defense, their LBs are light, fast and wreak havoc at the LOS. They could be a problem when they rush the passer given bell and Francis struggle against small fast guys.

VT pretty much ran the triple option.
 
If we avoid multiple game changing broken plays defensively, we will be fine.

Their QB was running for his life on every single play against Notre Dame. Our defensive front will give them fits. I don’t think they’ll be able to put together multiple sustained drives for touchdowns.

Pitt is a good solid club. Narduzzi's quarters coverage is a terrible matchup for Miami's shotgun inside zone 90% run rate. those safeties will be coming downhill. Will Miami game plan to counter or run a 170lb freshman right into the teeth of it out of that look? Pitts QB is dangerous because he is athletic enough to keep plays alive and he can throw off platform. The defense should be "spying' him all game hopefully. playing in 30 degree weather is definately a different dynamic, 2 weeks ago ND was there and it was 60 degrees at kick at noon. last week was a style points game and the squad failed miserably. This is just get a dub in these conditions game on the road. whatever it takes
 
They suck.

Their coach sucks.

Their city sucks.

Their basketball team sucks, their baseball team sucks.

Their NFL team sucks, their MLB team sucks.

They don’t even have an NBA team, because they suck.

Their best NFL player never won a Super Bowl, and the NFL team he played for sucks.

Their mascot makes more sense in Florida than Pennsylvania, and therefore sucks.

They suck so much they must love sucking.

We collapse every November. Hopefully that changes. I don’t think we’re getting into the playoffs but I hope we beat The Narduzzi soundly to emphasize the capricious acts of the playoff committee and… well… because The Narduzzi hates us and Narduzzi Tears are delicious.
 
The QB was 16-33 126yds 0-1 bs Notre Dame. They were really aggressive bringing pressures to rattle the Freshman. I believe Heatherman will follow that blue print and we will dominate their offense.

2nd beast team Miami has played. Yes they are better than SMU and Louisville.

The freshman QB is good, hangs onto the ball long so sacks will be there. He can scramble though and will threaten Miami deep.

Their defense is aggressive an athletic.

It will be a battle and freezing temps. Going to see how fizical this Miami team really is. This is a major test and if Pitt was in the SEC they would be a top 15 team. Don’t let the media fool you, this is a huge game.
 
I expect the Canes to win by two scores, between 10-14 points. 27-17 or 27-13.
Get it done Mario!!

I believe this is Mario's most important game as head coach at Miami we have to win convincingly. If we do that we have an excellent shot at the playoffs. If we lay an egg Mario's seat will immediately get very hot for his inabiliity to finish football seasons in a positive manner. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AND YOUR FAMILIES. GO CANES!
