Or are we delusional fans? We discuss names like cristobal, kiffin, leach etc..but whats make us think theyll their current situation to come here? Especially considering we cant pay more than what theyre currently making? I understand the fertile recruiting ground argument, but it isnt the 80's or 90's anymore, all the big schools seem to pluck the best talent out of south florida (there are a few exceptions).

Perhaps not to big names but a blindly loyal fan base and being in the midst of a recruiting hotbed will always make it among the best jobs available if it’s vacant.

Of course, we are definitely. Any good coach will win here. Aside from Richt, we have gotten the worst of the worst.

Only thing desirable is the location. The program is a shell 🐚 of what it once was, and there's no reason to believe the powers that be have any interest in rebuilding it.

Start at the top. Clean house. Then it absolutely is. Also, yes, we’re extremely delusional

We literally couldn't have made worse HC and AD hires and we're still a middling team in the ACC.

You're asking if this is an attractive programme when even after 17 years of blokes who eat crayons being in charge we're still semi-decent? C'mon now. If we weren't Miami we'd have been buried by now.

It just takes one good HC. This job is a career changer.

Miami is in most fertile recruiting grounds.. Bring in an enthusiatic recruiter and show him you are committed to program win$$$$$ and it will happen.. Miami is known as cheap crappy mom and pop program..

The biggest names aren't going to come to Miami knowing that we have no bag network in place. It's like going into a fight with one hand tied behind your back. These coaches know the name of the game. Not going to happen.

It is, but it requires a commitment from the school.

Yes, within a 50 mile radius is the most fertile recruiting grounds. Recruit well and UM is always a good coach away from being a winning program
