Yeah I think he's good maybe just not ready for primetime. From all accounts he's a hard worker so I hope he does well. But of hard working dudes on this dude.

It's just a little mind-boggling that now we are saying that Poyser, Fitzgerald, Lucas, and O'Conner are all trash now, and we can't get any pressure without blitzing from this DL. Where is Zack Etheridge? Check down Charlie was looking like Baker Mayfield tonight.
 
Damon Wilson is our most impactful D-Linemen. If he had been here 3+ years the board would sing his praises like they do lightfoot.

He’s had games where he was unguardable, the best player on the field,

What was different about today?

We didn’t put him on the field. So naturally he didn’t contribute.

Yeah. Upshaw can hoop he's just a little small IMO. He really needs to be in the slot or somewhere else IDK. I don't think he can do the things we need done on the boundary on a consistent basis from that position although he seems like a strong blocker for his size. WR room isn't all that TBH like we were thinking.

I think Damon Wilson put on too much weight too quickly trying to show he could set an edge & lost the elite quickness & bend that made him elite. He will eventually get his body right & be productive in the NFL but he won't help us much the rest of the year.

I think we need to get Wingo and Dre Jacobs more involved as well - Upshaw and Barkate are skightly above average for a decent team so far.
 
Thread is about a non-factor DE. Defense played mostly terrible vs UNC. Offense is why the Canes won.

Thread almost immediately turns into a bunch of complaints about WRs. (Who play offense, btw).

Wilson doesn't have a pass rush ****nal. Sometimes he'll mix in a long arm but 99% of the time he's just trying to dip.

Where the fvck is Keona Davis?
