He was asked a question by a reporter, and he answered it in the manner expected of
someone in the coaching profession.
Coaches simply did not throw fellow coaches under the bus, no matter how bad or good
the coach in question is.
It is no different than doctors not ripping on other doctors, reporters on fellow reporters,etc.
Simply put, you are looking for something that is not there.

Suggest studying the term "leaping/jumping to conclusions" may be quicker, less costly and more productive in the long run.

Now if you want to discuss how a BOT member will NOT use Coach L's comment as a talking point to keeping Fataweenie Alfredo, I will be happy to discuss that, along with how a wet behind the ears sports "journalist" will NOT use it as a listed point for keeping Goldilocks.

Finally, if you have no problem with a faculty member (Coach L is on the faculty) telling students how to think and act when it comes to athletic coaches (who can have a huge impact on the success or failure of their student-athlete peers), I would love to discuss the historical use of the intimidation of free speech, from sentry dogs and fire hoses to sign confiscation.

Did I say Coach L went after Willy specifically? No, he made comments which tacitly support UMiami Athletic Department thugs denying free speech. If you want to make the jump that I meant that he was going after Willy, that's CLUESSNESS on your part, not mine.

Memo again to READ my opening comment: I lost a lot of respect for Coach L because of his comments and think the comments are helpful to the pro Golden factions on the BOT, student newspaper, etc. No call to fire him, no silly names, just an observation and interpretation.
