Is Brian Kelly a corch?

Texas, ND, auburn. Year in and year out, these programs do less with more than most teams out there. Notre dame is filled with 4-5 star kids and the fact that they are in IN is irrelevant. They will always draw top recruits.

the pornstar D coordinator from ND that Franchise and all these fake gurus worship got asss raped

NDs talent and recruiting classes have been overrated for years. Any kid ND recruits must be a 4 or 5 star, otherwise ND wouldn't recruit them.

Who have they put in the NFL the past 10 years?

Kelly is a good, but not great coach.

I think even less of him as a person.

When you're playing the season opener on the road at a power 5 team, its not very easy. They say you improve most from week 1 to week 2. So I'll reserve judgement.

He doesn't have access to talent like other teams. He's a good coach. ND was dead in the water for 20 years before he got there.

Notre Dame's a household name. In what world do they not have access to talent?

I think he meant location-wise. South Bend is in Indiana not exactly a football state. But you're right - the rich history and big name coaches still manage to bring in talent.
Yep. They have to scour the country to fill their roster with talented players. Not an easy thing to do. Their name recognition is there but when you don't have a talent base to work off of you are at a severe handicap. It's why programs like Nebraska struggle now. Don't know what their access to talent was in the 80s and 90s but I've heard USCe has taken a lot of the talent they may have had access to.

Theres a reason Harbaugh wants traveling camps. Not enough talent in their area to win championships. So he has to travel to Florida or California or Louisiana, etc.

Its why teams like Miami, LSU, Houston, Texas, USC, UGA, Bama, and a few others will always be good or have an opportunity to be good. They have access to talent that other programs would kill for.

Not complicated. Pass defense has really fallen off since VanGorder took over as defensive coordinator in 2014. That's my cherished stat, so often the hidden truth.

These are the Yards Per Attempt Allowed since Kelly has been at Notre Dame:

2010: 6.4 (28th nationally)
2011: 6.5 (24th)
2012: 6.0 (13th)
2013: 6.3 (16th)
2014: 7.3 (84th)
2015: 6.9 (54th)

Pass defense looked awful again tonight, surrendering so many over the top plays and causing the huge deficit.

Nailed it!

Don't get me wrong I hate notre Dame but did you see what they lost in the draft? Not to mention the arrests. Last year was supposed to be their best shot now they take a dip in my opinion

not so fast. That's PART of the problem. Just like The []_[], the year Holtz retired, they raised their academic requirements. They don't use a sliding scale and have a higher ACT/SAT score required above the NCAA minimum. They can't take everyone they want or who wants them. AQM wanted to go there, but didn't have TWO physics classes. He had physics one and came to Miami. Such is life. It hurts. Even if you only lose "the one that got away", it's one to many.
