is anyone else uncomfortably confident?

Living an hour from Bloomington I’m not going to lie IU is legit. We should hold an edge at the line of scrimmage. They have the edge at QB & Receiver.

Our defense is a wash with theirs. They have better back end play than we do. They’re less mistake prone and don’t bust much.

We’re going to have to play a better game than we did against OSU.

Indiana isn’t just winning they’re breaking their opponents will. I’ll be honest seeing their helmet logo doing what they are is so far out of the realm of possibilities anyone that’s lived here could imagine. It’s an unlikely story as Miami under Schnelly.

I think we have a shot but I think people are blinded a little bit because we’re talking about IU football. Even to my friends that are huge IU fans they can’t wrap their heads around it.

All that said Go Canes get number 7!

Give me a 75 degree 75% humidity night. They play 13 or 14 guys on defense. Keep it close going into the 4th and just lean on them. Parallel I’ll draw is 1994, Miami vs Nebraska. Sapp & Lewis starting to wear out late in the game. Lack of depth and that big Nebraska OL just firing off the ball play after play until the dam finally broke.

Did they break OSU’s will? OSU lost that game, Indiana didn’t win it. Bama? The same bama that got beat by FSU by 3 TDs? Oregon? 28 points off 4 TDs that totaled about 30 yards and Oregon is walking out a 3rd string RB and has coordinators halfway out the door. Stop believing the hype

Unfortunately we're not getting that weather. Cold front coming through Sun afternoona and Monday evening will be cool and nice.

this is why im uncomfortably confident, we haven't put enough respeck on our db room name ...
they just held texas am (craver and concepcion), osu (tate ... the other guy had himself a game), and ole miss (can't name all the wideouts they have) to less than their totals ... we been sticky the last two months ... there's the narrative and then there's facts, the facts are on our side

I’ve seen IU several times this year due to proximity and friends. They’re legit and shouldn’t be taken lightly. I would have rather saw Oregon on Monday.

Thankfully the coaches and players know what stands in their way. I’m sure we will be prepared Go Canes!

We don't lose games like this often. Big games in general at night, at home.

Especially for all the marbles.

'94 Season was really the only time and it was cause Nebraska were more physical and we could not stop Cory Schlesinger .

Tape don’t lie. They are undersized. This is an average older athletic team. We are bigger faster and way more talented. You’ll see they haven’t see a violence like ours. Mendoza will question his draft status once the games over.

Watching the OSU tape a couple things stuck out. It was a draw in the trenches. IU was able to do to Sayin what we were able to. That said OSU ran the ball on them. Multiple unforced errors cost OSU points. Missed kicks and then the botched sneak on 4th and 1. Prior to the 4th and 1 Jackson got tackled on a soft arm tackle from about 15 yards out. Fletcher/Marty runs through that all day.

OSU DL was a draw with Indiana OL. OSU NT won reps off not just power but speed. Moten/Blay/Scott should be able to create havoc up the middle. Bain/Mesi are far better edges than OSU guys.

Honestly I think Pete is right. Barring us playing sloppy I think we win by 2 TDs.

We finished the regular season 4-0 on a roll and smashed the best team on that list to end that run.

We just ran though the hardest part of the playoff bracket against three of the very best teams in the nation.

We’re one of the last two teams left in all of college football comprised of 130+ teams.

If you’re not confident at this point, you haven’t been paying attention.

We’re a **** good team.

Refusing to listen to or read any opinionated BS on the game, not caring who thinks what, yes i am for some reason more optimistic about this game than any of the playoff games. Ole miss was much more concerning to me.

It’s hard to avoid all the news and podcasts but im confident. Havnt felt like this in over 20 years.

Good to know im not alone. Go Canes 🙌🏻
