I said if Miami was out, I would have done the same thing. I can't fault you all for that.

To be honest, the entire bowl system outside of playoffs, that is an ecosystem that was dying off anyways. No one was going to the games like before, especially if they didn't mean much. In addition, most of the players were opting out of it anyways, so it meant nothing.

This all started with the FSU snub, but this was going to be the pinnacle moment for the older bowl games. In addition, the conference championships are going the same way also.

Really need to goto 16 or more now, replace the entire bowl system and also the conference championships and make them the early rounds to the playoffs.

Jon Gruden really has the solution. There is a solution, it will eventually get there.

Essentially this is an expanded playoff.

I, myself think that it should have been Miami at 9 and ND at 10 with Bama dropping out. Your AD is having a hissy fit meltdown over the ACC fighting for one of their own instead of ND which is NOT a member in football because they’re high and mighty. Because you didn't get your way, the thought is that you got screwed? I don't agree with you BTW. You don't deserve to be in over Miami for H2H and everything else being similar.
Please don't compare the schedule you played to Alabama. No one would love to see Bama left out more than me, but they deserve that spot way more than ND. They had the same regular season record that you did but SOS is not even close. BYU and Vandy prob have better arguments than ND about being treated unfairly. Same or better record as ND but with a better SOS.
Your only beef should be that the ACC tiebreaker crap prevented Miami from being in the title game, which would have gotten them and ND both in most likely.
Or be mad that they are allowing the lower conference teams in that probably don't deserve it.
But either beef your schedule up or join a conference.
Otherwise stop with the we got screwed crap. Someone had to be left out from the 3 teams, and the other two would have a much bigger argument if they were left out.
Put your big boy pants on and try again next season. Don't lose 2 games again, or you take your fate out of your own hands and place it in the hands of a committee that may not see it the same as you do.
