IPF

Lots of teams have IPF less than 100 yards and yes it's big enough but not ideal

Simple answer yes, some schools including Georgia only have a 50 yard indoor field. They wouldn't use it all the time it would only be for when we have lightning in the area. So we can get our full practice times.

If Coley was calling the plays still it would only need to be 9 1/2 yards .

Many schools don't have a full 100 yard one. Regardless it's better than nothing which we currently have right now... Think about all of the missed practices we have had over the years due to Miami weather. This would be huge

Why exactly would it be huge, outside of bragging about it to recruits? Teams don't win or lose based on if they have an IPF or not. Can you tell us how many hours of practice the team has missed due to weather over the last ten years. Break it down by season please. Then compare that to the practice time of our opponents, season by season, going back the same ten year time frame.

It is absolutely huge. They practice at the butt crack of dawn to avoid the crazy Florida likes to throw out in the evening. So instead of delaying practice and going and practicing on a basketball court they would have an IPF. If you do not think we miss a significant amount of IDEAL practice time (actually on Green Tree) then you are out of your mind and must not live in Florida. They see 1 lightning strike they have to stop which in Florida is practically every evening.. So get your negativity out of here you communist

They need that much room to practice bubble screens? Now that I think about it, no Dnof need that space for the CBs

Miami's IPF needs to be 100+yds in order match all of UM's direct recruiting competition: UF initially was building a 75 yd IPF but then ponied up the funds for a full size field.

Article about UF changing plans for IPF from 70yds to 120yds.
Florida Gators football?s new indoor practice facility going up fast, on schedule | ONLY GATORS Get Out Alive

FSU, UCF, VA tech, Bama, AU, Clemson, and UGA whom will build a 140yd facility.

I know a lot of people are Happy with the just the idea of having any IPF at Miami, but UM needs to get this right the first to me and build a full size field. Most schools have a full size field or planning to build a new full size 100+yd IPF.

Go Canes
