Funding is complete.

Certainly wouldn't dispute your sources...it just makes zero sense to not then announce, "we have reached our goal of 100% funding, and are working the final naming honors at this time..."

UNLESS there is some significant ceremonial date (no first game isnt it) that would make it appropriate to announce that fans (we) aren't tracking? Perhaps the naming donor has asked for any announcements to be delayed until all gift details are finalized?

Absent that, seems like a public relations blunder with the lack of certainy and transparency. For those well versed on these types of things, a lack of transparency just leads to unecessary questions and doubt.

You don't come out and say you have all the funds you need. You might as well say no longer accepting donations if you do that. Keep the money coming in.

Ok so can somebody help me understand where the IPF is going to be built? I thought I read earlier that it would be built where Greentree currently resides but that doesn't make sense to me unless there will be another outside field built somewhere else? No way they don't have an outside practice field on top of the IPF is there?

The school has already confirmed that the new facility will extend from the current weight room over the existing artificial turf field. It will include a new weight room, meeting rooms and offices. That will leave 2 full outdoor fields.
