Matt Campbell has been thrown around here and I don’t understand the hype. He’s had some above average seasons in a dog **** conference and then gets upset today.

Herman who was a hot commodity loses to TCU and almost lost to KU last week.

The Campbell excuse will be something along the lines of the resources Oklahoma State has, even though the excuse for Gundy one week ago was how tough it is to get kids to go to Oklahoma State.
 
A lot people think Urban Meyer is a lock for the USC job but Texas is the one to watch out for. They have resources that could lure a coach the caliber of Meyer.

They would give him a blank check. Plus being able to replace Herman would have to be gratifying for Urban considering how Herman was dry-snitching once he left OSU.

Holy ****. Iowa St. has always been dog **** since the start of genesis. You really think anyone's going to go undefeated at that school. Also, last I checked, losing to Mike Gundy isn't the same as losing to Al Golden, Manny Diaz or any crap coach like that.

It's just funny how every 5-3 coach is the GOAT. There are excuses for why Gundy can't avoid losses, then when another flavor of the week loses to Gundy, all of a sudden there's no way to beat Gundy, even though Gundy just lost two straight.

This is one of the dumbest posts I’ve ever seen here. Guy has turned Ok. St into a CFB staple and a QB/WR factory and you’re here trying to diminish a top 15 coach in CFB. Log out and never come back.

But he can't do better than 5-3 in a conference that doesn't play defense? Why?

This board is unreal. I bet 95% never played a down of football in their life or any other sport for that matter. It’s not ******* Madden, you’re going to lose some games, some that you should win, that is what makes it fun to watch.
It’s when you drop games consistently, like Miami you have problem.

So Gundy and Campbell, both at 5-3 and not in their first year, would kill it here, but Manny at 4-4 in year one after 7-6, is the worst coach in P5. Maybe in the history of college football.
