Only band I used to stay for at halftime in the OB was FAMU. Nowadays, no matter how big the band is, most in attendance are headed to concessions or to pee all that beer down the drain.
Ask Utah if Florida's band was a problem Saturday night. It was. Even Whittingham admitted it was the loudest stadium he has ever played in and that includes Washington. Florida's band does not even step on the field pre-game, half-time or post-game, but they are annoying throughout the game especially at home. The Aggie band is going to be loud and annoying AF on the 17th. Same when we play at Clemson. It is part of the college experience whether we like it or not and home crowds react to their bands.

They honestly should just add the high school bands weekly from different schools in dade and broward to their numbers and learn the additional songs those high school bands play. For example like one week use MNW AND CENTRALS Band...the next NORLAND and CAROL CITY...Working there way through the county.

My high school band is 100 percent better than ums and we are middle of the road or below avg in football but that band director keeps it lit.

To me it helps community involvement etc and shows they are a part of being THE university of SOUTH FLORIDA. **** might get some enrollment from some of those kids who enjoy that experience at UM.

I dont even know if MNW's band is good anymore, I'm just assuming they are.

Invest in a better sound system at the stadium and someone spinning music that is on-brand with the program.

We don't need no band out there playing "Seven Nation Army" on tubas and other brass.

Gimme a dude in the booth cranking classic rock and hip-hop tracks synonymous with the program and the Orange Bowl days, as well as some new hits to get the crowd going.

Unless you have a world class band—Ohio State, USC, Florida A&M, etc.—who really cares. Think outside the box.
This is certifiably retarded but I expect nothing less from this fanbase

Don't get me started. Those that know me know my background with the BOTH, and once I'm more than two tequilas in I'll expand on this thread. Short version - nobody wants to support the BOTH financially or otherwise so here we are.
