Interim NIL approved

Bruh I wish I knew how to edit.....that would help my twitch immensely. It seems like a fuqin load of work to do.

Oh, you need Twitter for that fam. YT and Twich are basically the same, except YT is typically a polished product because its recorded and edited. Twitch is live. So it's like, you're a band at a local club doing a show on Twitch, but your music video is up on YT getting that commercial coin.

Who will be the first big time recruit to sign an endorsement deal with a Miami auto dealership even before committing to Miami?

said dealership gets free advertising, tickets, etc.. the stadium for paying kids to ‘endorse’ their dealership.

miami pays more to the kids in a big market amd gets the top recruits.

Miami wins more National Championships.

make it happen

Curious about players with YouTube/twitch channels now come to think of it....does that get impacted at all?

I have to guess this will be the single biggest cluster**** we'll see this decade. And keep in mind this decade started out with governments from the entire planet locking their citizens in their homes over the ******* flu.

I cant wait to see the Ohio State QB commit who drops a mixtape at $50 per download and gets 485,000 downloads the first week.
was just thinking how crazy this whole thing is. they would have been better off allowing the schools to pay players. at least that way they could regulate the situation.this is going to be out of control. i have no problem with guys getting compensated but this situation is going to have guys getting paid for everything and by everyone. are bag men even necessary anymore? boosters can just pay guys to come to the school. i have seen a lot of people say this is good for schools like miami in bigger markets. i think its better for the big schools with more boosters. does it really make a difference where you are located if you have people willing to throw money at the players?

Schools cannot pay players directly as most of them are public entities and would have to pay everyone the same. So the backup setting on the chick volleyball team (that draws 78 fans per match - 12 of which were the players parents who got comp'd tickets from their kids) would have to be paid the same amount of money as the Heisman Trophy winner who is playing in front of 70K+ every week and has all his games nationally televised.

But you are certainly on point regarding the overall craziness that is about to ensue. The tin foil hat guy in me thinks the chaos is being baked into the cake so the inevitable cry for regulation can be addressed by those in charge.

You can't give anything to recruits.

ok so wink wink when you get to campus x booster is going to give you an "endorsement deal" for his local business that pays 100 large.
If we're willing to cheat like that, why weren't we doing it all along? The whole point of this was that it is now supposed to be on the up and up.

$2 million from a company no one has heard of. Has zero social media presence and hasn’t updated their blog in years. But tell me again how this evens the playing field and that these rich boosters in SEC land can’t find ways to bankroll kids right in front of our eyes.

This is a one-off. The only reason the kid got that deal is because his father is famous.

Oh I have no doubt that the big corps will ultimately become the major players in this new game. I just meant this one is one off because it was Master P's kid, not because it was a big corporate sponsor.
I’m not talking about the company specifically. I’m saying huge payments to kids who don’t deserve it, or huge contracts to outbid other schools that aren’t above board will happen often.

Then it’s not a one off. Gonna be plenty of kids signing million dollar deals.
