completely agree...except for the most important recruit part. he's 2nd. Let's not forget about our future qb here

One reason I'm cautiously optimistic - when we started reading about Bruce possibly wavering, new WR names started coming out of da woodwerks. DB is at least as big a need as WR, and other than Henry Miller we haven't heard a lot of other DB names yet. Perhaps the staff is confident with Byrd? Just a guess...
 
This kid is a Cane. He has been all the way thru. We have seen how this one ends too many times. I wouldn't worry too much about this one. He is saying all the things a respectful kid is supposed to say before making a trip up there...

He is a cane all the way...except when he was a UF commit. None of us know how much he wants to play with his brother. What we know is that he is only 2 hrs from home at Miami. At UT he is 5hrs of travel time away may be more and the cost is hundreds per trip va $10.
 
Tenn fans are awfully annoying. At least FSU and OSU fans have something to brag about. Tenn hasn't done ish and hasn't produced ish but talk that most.

They think Byrd is a lock!!

The kid will likely play right away at UM. I seriously doubt UT is nearly as thin at CB. The young man would be crazy to flip if early playing time is important to him.
