It’s a generic argument that only works in a vacuum. If you ignore his time at Oregon than it’s more applicable to Mario.

Weird article title when you actually read the article itself.
My thoughts exactly. The article isn't so much about not firing Diaz as it is about not hiring Mario just because "he's a Miami guy.". As the article correctly points out, we've hired several guys with ties to the program (Shannon, Richt) or to Miami (Manny) and the results have been mediocre.

I agree with the article, not it's clickbait formulated title.

The solution is Lane, not Mario.
