I think it's hilarious that Mark Richt is so hated on this forum. Dude saved us from hiring Greg Schiano, put up $1 mil cash for an IPF, won the Coastal, and left when he realized the game had passed him by. Didn't ask for a dime, put the university in phenomenal position to hire great assistant coaches like Dan Enos. You guys clearly forget where this program was when he took over, and that's your choice. It's just funny.

Don't confuse a vocal few with actual masses. I don't think he's universally hated, or really very much at all. The bulk of us acknowledge what you spelled out. He saw a something that was working pretty well come unglued quickly, and that righting the ship would require major overhauls to his staff and offensive philosophy. He was past the point in life and career where he wanted to be a hatchet man. Canes history will look at him admirably.
