  • Yearby says national rankings "don't mean anything to me, honestly. Everything is overrated. What work we put in on the field determines what we really are." I would agree. Many ppl. get caught up in this horseshiit- Means nothing- play the game
  • Of what the defensive line learned from the first game, Thomas said, "As a D line it's get off the ball, even though we got off the ball well. we have to apply more pressure and come down on our tackles faster." The DL drills on "get-offs"; they MUST wear figurative earmuffs. Ball moves=u attack!
  • "DE Trent Harris has his right hand in a cast and is wearing a large wrap that looks like a club over it in practices."
Trent is going clubbing! My first game as a senior MLB for r Canes was against Ohio State (away). My hand also had a broken bone and was wrapped accordingly (recorded 11 tackles). U CAN DO IT TRENT!

Used up; washed out. If I was a horse they recommend shooting me. I might recommend that too, lol.

I think they mean do not listen to the QB, or snap count. Just follow the ball. Thats what I thought when I heard it..

Golden was big on blocking out the noise and look how bad his DLs were. I really hope Kul knows what he's doing, but him following what Golden did makes me think we made a mistake bringing him in.

Wrong, this is correct technique. AG's reference was to noise surrounding the program...which was generated by his own incompetence. If you ever played or coached you would recognize this as S.O.P. The fact that our D has to be taught this or at least be reminded of it is an indictment of previous staff and perhaps some H.S. programs.

Whatd he use as earmuffs? Double cheeseburgers super glued to the players ears held up my ketchup and mustard?

I had to read through a few paragraphs before you attempted to get yourself over. You usually do that within the first two sentences.

I watched that game, and for purposes of full disclosure, we should point out that 7 of those 11 tackles were pile humps 10 yards down the field, and you missed 15 other tackles in that game.

Where is your respect for a former UM player?

First things first. What are the chances that a 60-something year old man, who, at some point in his life, played football in a leather helmet, types "ur" instead of "your"? It would never happen.

There's obviously some connection here to Cosden, unless this person was clever enough to find an obscure guy from the 70s that you could easily pose as without having to know many details. Or, as I suspect, this is his granddaughter.

To answer your question, I'll start respecting this young lady as soon as she apologizes to all the fine posters that she's attacked on here for no reason.
