I hear you on the time out part, but that’s not how I understood the quote I believe he said almost an hour earlier they lined up in the same formation “but punted” ie it was an in game adjustment. So it wasn’t an hour before the game. The coaches saw something in game and reiterated to them it was imperative to be technically sound. Both coaches and players gotta do better, or they need to be replaced. Probably a combination of both.
Just to be clear, i said what manny said "about an hour before that play" which makes no sense, the good coaches reiterate things in real time. Its all on the coaches, point blank, its not that hard to figure out, we didnt have the best special teams units under coach hartley, lil feagles just didnt pan out for whatever reason, but besides that, nobody was trying our special teams like they doing now, it started out the gate, the gaytors didnt waist no time picking up on the flaws and timing. Cause for sure the timing is always important to, when coach mullen called for that fake punt he understood and knew right away, them new ****'s over their celebrating thinking they bout to get their 1st 3 & out, **** take, and checkmate. Coach diaz and patke wasnt even expecting that one, got caught off guard, but i luv how manny came right back with his own and bubba baxta, but him, enos already and patke for some reason keep phucking running plays to side where will "need to redshirt" mallory is, and negative plays keep consistently happening on whatever side he's on, he should not be starting over irvin, but you got morons who still believe he should be, mallory is a back-up and plays every bit like one, he's not physically ready andvits obvious, he's getting worn down during games,mhe'd be much more effective subbing in, and than catching defenses off guard with his speed but also going against opposing back-up players.
But when coach hartley was here, it was mainly the lack of punting in year 2 & 3, other than that, we was solid, C- to C+ solid, coach patke is an F+ special teams coach, imagine if feagles was still the punter under patke. All this missed fieldgoals, we've probably missed more fieldgoals in these first few g ames than the last 2 full seasons combined, if we accounting for distance, seeing this many short fieldgoals missed, here is where flake james the obvious will try and come in and make his recommendation to manny who'll easily capitulate cause just how flake james like em, (groomed from the troll shalala tutelage tree) a non established headcoach that'll be more willing to listen and bow down to what flake james wants, which is why they wont being in the pirate, but desparation has a funny way of making things happen, once the revenue from the football team starts shrinking, especially with all these new facilities, with coach richt at the helm, he drove the revenue and profile of UM back up, simply by being put on the marquee game slots, that wont happen but maybe one more time this year when we play the "this aint how its suppose to look bowl game" when we play Fsu!
