Interesting comments in pressers..

Far too many parents do it these days, particularly on social media. ****, sometimes the parents START it!

It's just not sports either. It's rotting everywhere.
It's part of society today. Mario has to figure out how to deal with it. It's definitely not exclusive to South Florida.

I ain't reading this entire bichfest thread although I agree with most of it. TVD is flat out struggling and is lost in his confidence with no safety net out there. Great QBs make another one and move on. In my opinion as well as others, the move to Garcia should have been made in the 1st or 2nd quarter. It was crystal clear that TVD was simply done after the first 2 series. I'm not a coach but it is in my family for 30 years. As for the other aspects that went wrong it was classic Miami. These coaches have a ton of work to do and we are looking at an easy 5 losses. I actually expected games like this. Let Garcia start a game and see what he can do with this receiver corp

It's interesting that you mentioned that because right before the season someone posted a TVD highlight video (on here or either 247) and I came away being less impressed than I thought I would. It was weird.
Yeah I’m with you

Don’t get me wrong still a HUGE fan of the kid but the combo of Rambo/Harley leaving, Lashlee leaving

I mean people that say it shouldn’t matter that much are correct in a way, but the more I watched I’m like man…we might be in some trouble here

Or at least I was pumping the brakes on the Heisman NFL stuff until I saw a reason to

Never thought it would be this bad

God bless Flagg in his future career, but the time is here to play freshman. This season is over let youth show and prove.

Mallory- should be benched

Campbell - benched

Rooster- learn to pass block and he’ll be solid

QB - disaster

Gattis - enos tier. Probably worse as he’s got more raw talent at qb.
Huh? Did the ACC games get canceled?

I mostly agree. It's just crazy.

After watching the AtM game, I felt like we could compete with. Clemson.

After watching yesterday's game I feel like all the Coastal games will be struggles and we lose at least 3 of them. Losing to FSU is in play and getting blown out by Clemson is on the table.

There is a culture problem. It's going to take 2-3 cycles to remove the old culture. Mario has to end the entitlement mentality or the bad culture will continue.

This is my biggest concern with Mario. I understand not wanting to ruin your QBs confidence but there’s no reason he should’ve gone out there after the pick six. None. The only way he could’ve possibly started worse was two pic sixes. Give Jake the ball and see what happens.
Zion didn't play & the rest of the OL took the day off. How is this TVD fault? Mario admitted in the presser he/offense has a long way to go with the implementation of the new system. Why don't they go back to the old? What a year TVD had last year, rookie of the year etc. & look at what this has turned into. No wonder he's discouraged.

Yeah definitely didn't think it would be this bad. I was just really surprised that the highlights didn't wow me like I expected. Funny thing is I remember being more impressed with Rambo. Lol

You can't go back mid-season. What they can do is open up the playbook with the plays they have.

We moved the ball better with Garcia. I want to see him work the offense. The WRs looked better catching passes from Garcia. Some here on CIS eluded to TVD not having good relationships with the WRs except Restrepo. Some said TVD doesn't even have their phone number because they don't want him to have it, but Garcia and Brown do. I don't know if that's true. If it is, that's a problem.

I want to see more dynamic plays that are in the playbook and get the running game going again. Taylor the plays to the strengths of the personnel.

The offense can't be one dimensional either way.

Poor coaching
Poor coaching

Poor execution.

Blame the staff and these players.

Miami theoretically should've beaten Middle Tennessee State if the coaches stayed in the locker room for the game.

We have a lot of entitled, lazy kids within this program. That doesn't get fixed in four games. It gets fixed with a roster overhaul in the coming years.

TVD should have been benched after the first quarter. They would have won the game if they did

That's on Cristobal

No comments on a defense that gave up 507 yards and was responsible for 38 of those 45 points?

Touchdowns passes of 71, 69 and 98 yards to that useless, lazy secondary?

Was that "coaching" too?

Reprehensible effort all around but this goes deeper than Cristobal—this team he inherited is a lazy joke.

Seriously? You can say system for a dip in numbers or an inefficient offense. But he immediately threw two picks. **** his last drive he was a solid five yards behind Skinner. This is something wrong with TVD. He should have been pulled before this game got even worse. The point is you are already down 10-0. Try someone else, what do you have to lose? This team had a ton of issues today, but TVD started the balling rolling down hill. If TVD comes in and scores first drive, odds are this team probably wins yesterday. But spotting the other team 10 points before you have run five offensive plays is horrendous QB play.

LOL culture. nah man its a coach problem. yes we need to fix the culture but no yesterday was not culture. its the same exact coaching issues we've seen all year and it just got expoed big time bc we played a well coached and prepared team. we got out coached not out cultured.

Why does everyone keep putting that on TS? It was man defense with a single high safety , he’s out wide like he always is. Couch plays zone and just lets his man go. TS is the guy hustling down field trying to run him down.
Yeah, that’s they way I saw it and I put that in the game thread that it look like Couch messed up on the coverage there.

People said I was defending TS in the game chat. Why should I blame him if he’s covering another man out wide and the other guy just lets him go? Did I defend him on the muff or when he got ran by against BCU?

Sorry, but TVD is just a JAG. This "had to learn a new offense" excuse is B.S. What did he think was gonna happen if he got to the NFL? Take Lashlee with him? He had guys open and never saw them because he locked in to his first read. He surpassed the WR drops with his misses and overthrows.

The drops on the WRs were inexcusable, but Garcia did more with those same receivers, in a time where MTSU expected us to pass, and without Parrish.

TVD has arm talent, but that doesn't mean anything when you don't have "it" from the shoulders up and in between the ears.

I likened TVD yesterday to a baseball player who is in an 0 for 30 slump and goes up to the plate knowing he is an out. Has that look of zero confidence in himself.

Him not working with other receivers in the off season other than X, if true (he supposedly didn't have anyone else cell number), is absolute a** from your supposed "team leader" and QB1.
