Interesting comments in pressers..

I’m not defending Gattis’ offense but TVD ain’t it. Even last year in multiple games he was absolute trash for entire halves of game at a time. Rambo bailed him out on numerous occasions.
Yet our offense was consistently putting up 40+ points. 40+ points, I’ll say it again 40+ points against the heart of our ACC schedule, North Carolina, FSU, Pitt, etc. we put up 24 against Middle Tennessee today.

Mario made Herbert look pretty pedestrian as well in college. I remember draft analysts thinking he was a 2nd or 3rd round pick all during his season based on his on field play, then when he got to the combine and workouts and his size and arm strength made him a top 5 pick. Mario had Sewell, Holland, and Herbert all guys who are already looking like the best at their positions in the NFL and all he could muster up was a 35-13 record at Oregon. Holland is playing like he should have been picked in the Eric Berry and Earl Thomas range in the NFL draft.

No...as @Rellyrell showed us....Herberts most productive yrs were with Mario....

If this system has him so discombobulated that he can’t even complete basic passes and not throw the ball directly into the chest of DBs on three step drops then he needs to forget the NFL dream and hang it up. Because this “complicated” offense is entry level basic compared to what he’s be expected to handle at the pro level.
Dude couldn't toss the football into the ocean if was standing on the beach. We all hate this offense, but he was plain awful today. Rumors are he was at a club in SOBE last night slamming shots till 3 am.

I'll tell you what I'm curious to see what Mario does going forward. He's not going to play around and his passion for the U is going to be something to take note. I'm expecting a mass exodus after the season. Wouldn't surprise me to see a crazy turn around kinda like what they did at Mich St. I know it's a ways out but offseason going to be insane. Also, no way we hang on to this class with the pure **** shown the last 2 weeks. 1 week playing to lose “but we can compete” next losing a team we should have been able to field nothing but fresh/soph to beat. Feel bad for the kids feel bad for Mario not getting out of his own head (even Saban) adapted his offense by bringing in guys like sark and lane. Mario just wants 40 min of possession and 20 points a game. Welcome to the time machine where we took a 30-year backward tour. Alright I'm done. My dumbass with be in my seat 2 weeks from now complaining again but oh well, I digress

LOL wrong. He had one of his highest rated wr transfer

Straight from the horses mouth. He transferred bc he wasn't being utilizes properly.

From the article .....

The Ducks are certainly a run-heavy team, averaging 38 attempts per game, compared to 28 passes per game. Only one player had more than 500 yards receiving, and only four players had more than 300 yards receiving, one of whom was a running back

I am a HUGE fan of Frost as an OC, but only if Mario would let him do his thing. I KNEW he was committing career suicide in taking the NEB job and I know people who strongly advised him to not take the job and resist the "Momma is calling" feelings. A number of CFB folks tried to talk him out of that move, but his family pushed him to take it. It was an awful bad fit and would never work. NEB is not a place to run his style of FB. My only concern would be....has he lost his swag? He looked like a shell of himself the last 2 years, dude prob needs to seek a counselor and find his swag again. Frost would have destroyed it at Florida when they were trying to hire him....I prayed they would not hire him, he would have KILLED it there

Can we send Gattis to Nebraska???

The fucced up thing about 85, is that they CONTINUOUSLY ask him to block muhfuccas. They know **** well 85 can’t block a **** toddler. There’s plenty of film evidence showing this… Yet they keep running his *** out there.
correct he got his *** shoved back in red zone run game ...... next 2 weeks should be interesting to say the least
