What do I need to learn? If you think Gattis sucks and we should fire Mario, fine. That still doesn’t mean TVD didn’t just go out there and play badly. He missed wide open guys consistently, that’s his fault. No one else’s.

Our coaching sucked when we had Jarren but that didn’t absolve Jarren from criticism.

We literally hated our LB coach so much we fired him. But yet we still criticize Flagg.

TVD is the only guy y’all wanna strictly blame coaching for and not criticize at all, even though when plays are there for him to make he has constantly missed them this year

Might be a hot take to some on here, but TVD stared down receivers and threw an inaccurate ball a lot last year too. It’s just catching up to him now, partially because we aren’t throwing the ball 60 times a game so the misses stand out more, also because we don’t have Rambo and Harley (and Restrepo injured)

There would be no need to bench TVD if the offensive style was similar to last year or even a hybrid between last year and the power game that they want. There is just to much thinking on both sides of the ball with this system instead of just going out there playing fast.

If this system has him so discombobulated that he can’t even complete basic passes and not throw the ball directly into the chest of DBs on three step drops then he needs to forget the NFL dream and hang it up. Because this “complicated” offense is entry level basic compared to what he’s be expected to handle at the pro level.

Jarren was dog **** then, now, always. Flagg is just a JAG.

TVD proved he could play big time football just months ago and now he can't. Why are you confused?

And, btw, I doubt you know what a strawman is, but saying TVD hasn't received criticism is peak hermit crab brain. He was literally booed in his home stadium in front of over 18 people.

How do we all of a sudden have such a lack of talent now when last year we were dropping 40+ a game and our only loss was Rambo? Us as fans knew the defense had to play more downhill and fast and it would be a significant improvement over Manny’s D last year.

Last years coaching staff doesn’t lose these last 2 games. A&M wouldn’t be able to hang with our Offense and same could be said for MTSU.

We all saw the recipe for improvement over what we saw last year yet Mario doesn’t. I have never heard of a coach pro or college who has done great things during his career who they said he won even though he was very stubborn. Belichick, Saban, JJ all changed their schemes and how they did things consistently and sometimes yearly. Mario doesn’t change a thing whether he has Justin Herbert or Kirby Freeman under center.

Did I say TVD didn’t receive criticism or did I say that “y’all” don’t want to do it?

TVD had great games last year but I also think it’s fair to say that we hyped him a bit. It’s like this fan base has completely forgotten the UNC and FSU games from last season. That film still exists.
 
All that coaching experience and all those gold jackets at practice didn't amount to diddly poo today. I think Clark said the players just thought they were going to win and didn't get up for the game. This after last week's lackluster loss to ATM. You would think that they would want to ball and make plays but they can't do that in a slow down phone booth offense run by a Mark Wohlers at QB. Right now TVD is the catcher in Major League that can't make the throw back to the pitcher. The kid is mentally toast. That's another notch in Mario the QB killers belt.

Garcia should be the starter the rest of the way or until Mario/Gattis ruin him mentally as well. Gattis is nothing but a fraud. A complete fraud. This offense is so horribly coached it's hard to even describe. 12 million dollars for this garbage?

Same can be said for Mario and Gattis. If they couldn’t see that we had a high powered offense that few teams in the country could match for the last 8 games last year and come close to replicating that then Mario should go to coaching at Columbus and Gattis should go to whatever city he ******* came from to coach high school football as well.

I’m not defending Gattis’ offense but TVD ain’t it. Even last year in multiple games he was absolute trash for entire halves of game at a time. Rambo bailed him out on numerous occasions.
