Can you imagine if Bama (or basically most SEC teams) existed in media markets where those entities had a vested interest in exposing the things that happen with those football programs? Not even a vested interest in TAKING DOWN a program (like we've experienced when the Herald and Sun Sentinel were crawling over each other to be first to get a killshot story about us) but just one where they had the actual freedom and motivation to do actual reporting?

Everyone should know Bama is a dirty program. No one is oblivious to it, from kids driving around in fancy automobiles, the domestic, gun, and drug charges being swept under the rug. No one cares b/c as long as Saban’s former boss is running the NCAA, he’ll have a golden ticket.

Yep.

As Aaron Hernandez showed, if you're winning you can literally get away with murder at a SEC program. Bama is pretty unique in that the whole university exists to serve the football program though

Bingo we have a winner. I live in South Alabama and if you bring this up they either laugh or say jealous much?

So does my wife’s grandmother. That’s exactly their response. I never wanted to punch an old lady in her mouth until football season comes around!

Ratings.

They go after it because they know there is a huge amount of folks that hate us or want to see it..**** their top folksin the org probably hated us during our runs as well.

ESPN has yet to even try with Bama. Yet after every other MNC not by an sec team..they are snooping around for stories. Its crazy....that every one is cool with it. And there are journalist trying their best to sink us...but dont even try with an easier organization to bring down
