Insight on App State?

It's going to be a tough game is Miami decides to play to the level of their competition. Not to take anything away from App state, but we have some favorable matchups. If we come out and play out our brand of football, we should be fine! This is going to be the first real test for our young LBs's. Because this is going to be assignment football. They're going to try to put some numbers on the edge, and soften the middle up.

I think this will be a very competitive game. But this game is going to fall on Brad's shoulders. If he has a good game, it may not be close. They let it hang against UT, but this is the game they circle on their calendars. Guarantee they watch way more film on Richt's offense and Manny's Defense than UT past games.

They're expecting a win! Need to let them what type of program we are!

From friend in NC:

"Boonies are going crazy right now. They let UT get away and they know it. They are absolutely expecting to win this game. Didnt ESPN move it to the 1200 slot? They are hoping to run dramatic "last second" Miami loss footage for the rest of the day, its all about eyeballs remember? That Cox kid reminds some of a bigger version of Sproles. You Miami thugs better come to play or it aint going to overtime."

For record..my friend was teasing about the thugs part...he is actually a closet Canes fan stuck at UNC...

Your friend's a racist ****. Birds of a feather.

To all you goofballs who want to line up all day in I formation goal line sets that's playing right into their hands. Spread those 2 stars out and make them cover the whole field. Don't condense the field and play a game of tug o war with these 2 stars.

Take advantage of your decided athletic advantage and blow them off the field. Spread em out and gash them to death running through open lanes and make them cover guys they can't cover.

What are you up to now? 21K posts...about 15 per day?

Your HFA obsessions and self stims...

-immature and unhealthy focus on scatalogical references...check
-immature and unhealthy focus on sexual organs (mostly male) and sexual fluids...includes your pics of doctored graphics too...check
-inability to process today...so temper tantrum lash out...check

Have you tried propranalol? Studies are showing it can help with your obessions, anxiety, and self stimming...

What shall you copy from other posters today? Clever screen name puns (like I did then you copied), use of elippses (like i did then you copied), countdowns (like i did then you copied), or perhaps the SAT woed of the day...pejorative (like cowgirlcane)...

oh what shall it be???

Yep. They are going to give us the bubble screen all day long for 7 to 12 yard gains each time. Spread them out and take it every time. Then let Walton gash them on handoffs out of the shotgun. If they adjust and play tighter coverage, throw over the top. If they don't, just keep bleeding them to death out of the spread.

C'mon...get back up boy...Im not done...dont stay down and hide behind your HFA...

c'mon..get back up...

These Madden/Millen "line up and run right at em till their snot bubbles send out an SOS" parrots don't understand what UM's advantage is most of the time--speed and playmakers who thrive in space. Make these 2 stars defend the entire field against NFL players. See how that works out for them.

There DL appears to be team's strength for last x2 contests. They seemed to be able to bottle up UT effectively.

When, not IF, Miami gets ball to playmakers in space, its going to be difficult, not impossible, for them to adjust. Their running back can score from anywhere IF he gets loose (thanks Capt Obvious). When you watch his highlight reception TD against UT, he does make a strong catch against a mismatched LB (or was it DE?), but then scampers for the score because the tackler fell down...he didnt really break the tackle.

If our Canes continue to have solid tackling like they have shown so far, I think everyone hoping for a Miami loss is coming away disappointed.

Miami executes...Miami rolls...App St wont be able to stop them...

What I saw from the UT game shows App St as a well coached team. Although there was a talent disparity, App St stayed in the game and probably should have came away with the win. UT played down to App St's talent level, a mistake we must not make. Hopefully a less than ideal game with FAU will wake Miami up a little bit. No sleepwalking through this one.

Offensively against Tennessee they ran a lot of misdirection plays. They are not a down field passing team so we'll have to watch for throwbacks and screens. We need to stay aggressive but hopefully Manny dials it back a touch. Our ends and linebackers will have to stay home and not over pursue.

Defensively the cb's were playing well off of Tennessee's receivers and if Dobbs could throw they would've torched App St. Kaaya has to be on point this game. We should spread them out and give the ball to our play makers in space.

If Folden was still coach I'd be very nervous about this game. They played Tennessee tough because Butch Jones is a corch. Richt will have our guys ready to go. I look for App St to come out pumped up and play competitive early. Miami takes over as the game goes along and pulls away after halftime.

We win by atleast 2 TD's, I expect big day from Kaaya to shut the critics up. 20,000 ? Our guys have played in way more hostile environments.

To quote CMR

“How can you take this team lightly?” an incredulous Richt answered. “How can anybody who knows football take this team lightly? We don’t even have to say that to our guys. They’ve seen the film. They watched them play against Tennessee. They know.

“It’s really almost an insult to have to answer the question. Not being rude to you, but this is a really good football team and everybody knows it and we’re geared up to try to do the best we can to play great that day.’’

I'm surprised to hear that a HC didn't come out and say, "They've got no business being on the same field as us." That's usually what HCs do when they have a decided talent advantage isn't it?

Exactly what Mark did with his adjustments in the FAU game and it was so easy it was almost boring.

Nice having a competent HC who can adjust on the fly isn't it?

You won't see man on man coverage. There will be a lot of blitzing from different guys along the formation. With App's defensive line and the tape of Miami's OL struggling last week, it would be football suicide to try to play man up instead of simply trying to get after the QB.

he's an equal opportunity offender. knows no boundaries. has marcos built into his keyboard for derogatory phrases. hits ctrl F and faqqits is spelled. i hear he's an attorney, can't imagine what kind and what his case/client load is.

he's insightful, but its hard to tread through the muck
