Notes:

- Stop playing man on D because the secondary is awful.
- Time for Flagg to be pushed aside
- Stop bunching offensive formations. This team can’t execute that. Get rid of them. ASAP.
- Stay with Tyler for now and see how he comes out next game.
- Tyler needs to be tougher mentally. This is not good enough and scouts will make note of it. He’s too introverted. But he is also more of a pro than Jake right now. More responsible that Jake.
- Jake is more spontaneous, less disciplined but the team loves his attitude. He still needs quite a bit of work.
- Plenty of talent in this team to beat MTSU and this was a catastrophe.
- James Williams was a disaster. Awful tackling.
- Coach Feld needs to tweet less and train more. Less cringy Instagram and more results. Oof.
- Tyler is too streaky. Moody on the field. Takes a while for him to heat up or rebound.
- Tyler can make all the throws and this offense is not working for him. Gattis needs to change things to help Tyler.

Players that need more playtime on O:
- Arroyo; time for Mallory to make room. Make it 50/50 share. Mallory is simply too limited. Arroyo has a lot of talent.
- Inject Skinner into the offense. His agility is next level.
- Start Frank Ladsden. He and K. Smith are the best WR right now. Work then.
- Get Justice out of the starting 5 and replace him with Zion in that lineup.

Players that need more playtime on D:
- Daryl Porter should be playing more. Getting more snaps. A college coach told Gaby this. Lake and Gaby strongly agree.
- Play DP over DJ Ivey now and see what happens. Can’t get any worse.
- It’s time for Wesley B to start. Invest in his future now. He has the ability and attitude to make plays.
- Caleb Johnson needs to play more. He needs to start. Unsure why that has yet to happen.
- James Williams and Kinchens look to comfy. Want Avante to get more opportunities and push the starters.

Culture, talent and coaching.
- What is holding the team back the most? Culture is a huge issue. It’s existed for many years and it needs to change ASAP.
- A lot of the current talent lacks that urgency, attitude and commitment. There are no winners on this roster. They are way too comfy being mediocre and fall back on the brand.
- MTSU loss is on the coaching staff. Period.
- Culture will get fixed. Talent as well. But it’s going to take longer. Because the current coaching staff are not able to mask the deficiencies.

The rest is all about current high school players that Miami must get in order to change this culture. You can listen to that on your own time.

Peace.

Adding as I listen.

Right or wrong, we are going to see a complete disaster all-around if they start TVD again; OR if they do and don’t pull him as soon as he starts f*cking up, staff might start losing the team a bit. That’s when things could get even worse, as horrific as that sounds after what happened Saturday.

Yes, offense needs big adjustments regardless of which guy starts. But it was clear that guys were frustrated and finally started getting fired up once Jake came in. How do you go back after you took TVD out? Going to be a total disaster.

We played cover 2 and Tae and Kam did wtf the wanted to. Secondary lacks smart players

Can't afford to let Tyler put you in a deep hole, especially with this ****** offense

James Williams is the definition of 1 step forward 3 steps back

It's been time for Flagg but he's just so much better mentally then everyone behind him

Gattis changed some stuff and Tyler was still looking like Preston Dewey

TVD being introverted is gonna be a problem. I knew last year he was introverted and for him to take that next step he was gonna need to be a more vocal leader. It’s a hard thing to do, but I think it is absolutely necessary if he wants to bounce back, needs to get a little more 🔥 in him. It looks like TVD needs to take a page out of Garcia’s book and vice versa.

Being unable to scheme open receivers out of 4 receiver bunch formations is damning. How hard is it to watch what McVie teaches his WRs to do? Hard I guess. Joe Brady could figure it out.

I can’t exactly defend Gattis after how bad his playcalling was against MTSU overall (mostly the horrifically slow tempo kills me) but the idea that we haven’t had any receivers open is just flat-out false. There are tons of clips of TVD just not even looking past his first read and the next guy is running totally free. Keyshawn Smith alone had several instances of this.

Doesn’t magically fix the drops, but still, it’s not like guys have been blanketed. At all

Pretty much agreed with everything but I wouldn't lump in Kam with JW0's poor play. Tae & Balom need more reps at safety. JW0 has been quite awful but he's occasional splash play keeps his image too clean in too many fans' view IMO. Everyone knows at this point Mallory, Ivey, and Flagg need to be martched to the bench so coaches need to find the stones and just do it, take your lumps now with the younger guys as it should pay dividends come November. It's likely TVD will start vs UNC but the leash needs to be short. And most importantly, we gotta go more pace & space. It suits Tyler and the WR's and now with the RB room decimated by injury no reason not to make the major adjustments NOW. Lastly, why the f*** did Ladson disappear last Saturday ? He mad a few catches, one of them a pretty tough one yet afterwards he received 0 targets. Key Smiff, Brashard, and Ladson should be top 3 guys for now with HEAVY doses of Arroyo & Skinner too. And while we're at it get Brantley & Mammarelli involved in the pass game more too.

Did Zion get his job taken? I assumed he was just still dinged up and MTSU seemed like a good spot to rest him going into the bye week.
One of the major keys to our shellacking was missing Zion and having Olawusen in the lineup. Completely destroyed any chance of semblance of a run game.

Holy shih dude completely forgot about Balom.

It's gotten to the point the coaches absolutely need to make changes and adapt. Let's see if they will.

Thanks for the solid work OP. Either way Tyler or Jake is hitting the portal after this year. Who could you build your team around?

-Key Smith is the main WR now. Do not take him off the field. I'd be interested to see what Horton brings. Can't be any worse than Brinson and Redding.

-Justice needed to be benched during the A&M game. Roll with Campbell, Zion, Rivers, Clark, Scaife. Give Logan snaps too.

-Mallory needs to be benched. Give me Arroyo and Skinner more snaps.

-Wesley, Chase Smith, and Caleb Johnson need to play way more. No more Steed and Flagg.

-Anyone else at corner would be better than Ivey and Curtis

-Kam is our best defense player now. James Williams is a trainwreck back there. More Balom and Avante.

Again w/ that word culture.

Couple things I disagree w/.

1. Darryl Porter has been God awful whenever he’s in. That’s y he’s not getting burn.

2. Kam has been our best player on defense. The only comfy I see from him is being comfortable as a natural safety. I totally agree on J Will & I had reservations on him & u can find my reservations in his recruiting thread. For all the natural abilities he has, he makes a lot of bone headed decisions, and I’m referring to his after the play antics. If refs were being a-holes, he could be called for taunting often.

Other than that, I agree w/ everything that was said, including getting Avantae on the field.
