Based on these articles, over a million puts you in the top 15 for assistant coaches. The article says 1 million or more. I think we'd be able to get a legit coordinator at that price.

Bill Bedenbaugh at Oklahoma is one of the best OL coaches in the NCAA and the co-OC. Makes 625k. Kill two birds with one stone. Fire Searles, Bedenbaugh can be OC/OL coach. Searles freed up salary can go to a ST coach and analysts.

UM president Julio Frenk “is not involved in sports,” the trustee said. “Donna was. I can guarantee you that Julio has not gone to Blake to complain about the offense. He goes to games and that’s it.”

"That Trustee A said UM is positioned to pay a high-level offensive coordinator $1 million or more annually."

That is the important part.

Kinda strange Harbaugh pays a "passing game" coordinator over a mill, along with both OC and DC. He's an x-NFL QB, and even he realizes the HC can't do everything, Mork needs to be CEO, and quality control, and let a young aggressive OC call plays but I just don't know if he can do that
