Hit the nail on the head perfectly there is no such thing as a look for a good recruiter. Even if u go off the great coaches u got guys like jimbo Fisher, james Cooley, mac jones etc all guys who look like they would struggle but recruiting is all about relatiblility end of story. Obviously bags help too

Bingo. These young men want to succeed in life, and they don't care what a coach looks like if they believe that coach will get them to the league.

no wait what about Clappy lolol win and we will get who we want. I our league we should win 9 games with the type of players we have and then we can get those 5 stars tostop going to Sec

If what was stated in another thread that 20 of the top 25 recruiters are black what is that telling you. People naturally feel more comfortable with people they are used to being around.
If a kid comes on campus and sees no one that looks like him coaching. Nine times out of 10 if he has an EQUAL choice to go to a school that has people that look like him coaching. He'll choose that later. In most cases. No matter his skin color.

Not a Harry Potter fan either but Mike Evans recently had a Harry Potter birthday related party so it does resonate differently than most of us might think.

Yeah...you don't need a black man to roll into the city to pull black kids from the inner city.

Those kids are often very straight forward in what they want and are looking for...parents, too...and I'm not talking about BAGS, although for the very top kids, sure...usually wins the day. But everyone else...pretty straight forward.

For this current staff, as constructed...like, Cooney, Lockette, Field, Hickson...seems like enough here.
