Injury Updates

I tore a ligament in my ankle at Marine Corps OCS a lifetime ago when I got my foot wedged between tree roots on a boots and utes run. My heel was momentarily 180 degrees reversed and next to my shin.

I’ve never been shot but I imagine that’s what it must feel like. I’ve had several broken bones and joint separations over the span of my life but I’ve never felt pain like my ankle ligament tearing. I can’t imagine what a torn Achilles would feel like but I don’t think he’d be walking off the field and getting stretched.
But Kobe got up and hit a couple free throws after tearing his Achilles.

Either way with a calf injury you'd risk an achilles injury by returning quickly. Obviously for next year it'd be better though, so hopefully it's a more minor injury... Or lets just hope it was a Cramp and a super minor foot injury...
Agreed! Even if it's a minor calf strain, given the explosion necessary to play (especially) his position, I doubt he'd be ready for the next game. Now the NC game...

Perhaps Keionte can put O.J. in touch with his people.

This is not what you do for an achilles injury. Matter a fact, it's what you should absolutely not do.
oh i agree. but they were stretching like a cramp. And given the calf was area of focus the main "major" injury there is achilles. most other things except like a broken bone is a calf strain type which would be bad for this season but isn't some liek super major injury...

I'm not sure what this means, but dorsiflexion of the foot should not lead to concern about the achilles.

It means there is nothing else around the calf aside from a boken bone that there would meet the definition of a major injury, as far as typical football injuries. So I'm saying if it wasn't an achilles which it doesn't seem to be due to what they were doing stretching like a cramp, then I doubt it was a major one.... And the biggest risk from it being a calf injury would then be achilles risk if you aren't fully healthy...

And btw...that osu dude went for MF4's knee on that play where he fumbled....HE WENT FOR HIS KNEE, NOT THE CLEAN PLAY.

I immediately thought of the McGahee injury when I saw that hit. Thought Fletch was done but was relieved when he popped back up. Guy absolutely came in for the hit with dirty intentions.

I have no idea what Lucas was doing on that long pass to JJ in the first half.
as a former db, Don’t even have to watch the play to know it’s a snatch concept. Slot runs a dig to take the safety and wr runs the skinny post to replace. You’re taught as a db that if he starts leaning into you, he’s breaking the other way. Nobody leans the way they’re breaking. **** poor coverage from Lucas that play as he stopped running. Whatever. We got who we got. Gotta get him right

Anyone got any pictures or slow mo’s of OJ’s injury? Knowing Mario, if he tore his Achilles, he’d list him as questionable still
Oh boy. You must not pay close attention to the injury reports then. Every single player with a season ending injury has been listed as Out all year.

It won’t let me upload a video, but here’s where OJ hurt his ankle/achilles/calf. Putting the Twitter link for anyone who wants to watch it.

Yes I saw Damari walking around the field after the game with no boot on!

Also J Smith’s foot popped back quickly after going out of bounds and weirdly struck OJ on his foot. Look closely. After being kicked OJ looked down like wtf and his foot was hanging immobilized.
So what do u think the injury could be
