Getting CJ & Moten back is huge. Not pressed on Fletcher as I wanna see Brown & Pringle get the reps anyways. But losing Keionte hurts. Gotta find a way to get it done.
Brown has done almost NOTHING since Sept., dude must have the BEST PR firm in world working for him. His style of play I think is a leading cause to why our offensive identity is what it is lol.

Fletcher is just a decent back himself, nothing amazing or great but he is clearly better than Brown and his skills will be missed. I think Brown ran for tough yards early in season and gave a false hope that we would just be able to grind our way down field so fans fell in love with that style and I think even the coaches thought we could just griiiiiind and pound pound pound our way to wins, while some pointed out that was not a reliable strategy and that false hope would leave us vulnerable and unprepared when we need to open it up. Lo and behold conference play starts and dude is avg under 4 yards a carry and you cant depend to just run up middle against teams.

Keionte is a huge loss but I agree getting Moten back takes away the blow of losing Blay. Scott just played his best game as a Cane last week. Hopefully the lightbulb has come on for him. CJ back is huge as we dont have to rely so much on a unfocused Jojo in a game that we will need to score points.
CJ, Marion- first team
Moore, Upshaw- 2nd team

This is the outside rotation I would go with. With Tony Johnson out I might put JoJo to backup Malachi in the slot, albeit I want Malachi to take 80-90% of the snaps.

No time to sulk or make excuses. We have depth at RB and the secondary. If Mario has re built the culture they will have guys step up and the leaders like Bain, Mesidor, Wesley etc will step up and lead and make plays.
This team has been in a malaise on O and they better figure that **** out real quick. Being uptight scared to make a mistake is getting old and making them worse. Go punish your opponent by scoring points then lean on the physical run late to break their will. The longer these underdogs stay in the games they start building confidence and we break. Need to reverse that and make teams quit.

Question for those that watching Minny film of Hertherman. Did he employee his nickel last season the same way he does with Scott now? If not how did he and is there someone on the roster that can play that way?
