Incredible stat showing just how important Enos is

So you're saying the key to beating us is to not let us score very many points?

Sadly, we played a lot of defenses that weren't all that good, and didn't stop us from scoring many points as much as our offense stopped itself from scoring many points.

28 points is not alot in CFB. We need a QB to step up and the wins follow. Also we need to start playing better on the road.

No, we need an offensive identity first. Let's look at last year. We go Power I and the ONLY play we ran out of it was fullback dive to Choc. We run wildcat with Deejay. All we ran out of it was power left or power right. What we have maybe a dozen plays with variations in spread? It was insane and amateurish. Build a scheme that a quarterback on our roster can execute. You just picked up a kid from Ohio State and a walk-on transfer from Arkansas. We also need a 2019 freshman. Once you have that let them compete and Enos should be able to find a kid who can run his offense competently.

you cant win games in today CFB when the expectation going into every game is to basically shut down the opposing offense every single game!

we do not have many 10-7 thrillers any more. The rules of the game now favor the offense so we need to adjust and score more points.

Easy......aim to score at least 30 points per game, and look at the score card......incredible.....wow.

More amazing is the number of games that other teams have done that relative to us. Bama and Clemson are 45-2, meaning they've scored 28 points 47 times. We've scored 28 only 27 times, and we play in a pretty weak conference.

Im more impressed with the way he is recruiting qb's and other position players. TOS has reported that he has been a handful since he has joined the staff. Enos!!! Is a boss no doubt. All these poRsters in here trying to tell me that there were no recruiters on the staff. Lulz.

Miami was 6-0 this season in games they scored 28+ points.

And 1-6 in games they didn't.

This really isn't that hard.

Oh, and even removing all games against FCS opponents...so take all the cupcakes away from every FBS teams and only looking at FBS vs FBS games in 2018, there were 67 teams that averaged 28.0 PPG or more. So it's not like we're asking to score 50 a week. Just do what literally 67 other schools did this year, and when you do, you haven't lost a game in 4 years.

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Exactly. Given the schedule we played and the skill position talent we had, we should have averaged FAR more than 28 points per game, and won at least 10 games.
Should've would've could've.

The other thing to remember, is the offense is on the field, actually playing offense, and not going 3-out, the defense isn't getting worn down and demoralized, knowing they're not getting any support from the other side of the ball.

Remember all the Cult worshippers who used to argue the Offense was perfectly fine & it wasn't Richt's fault?

Ahhh good times.

It's the stat that got the defense so ****ed off at the offense, and caused Diaz to jump ship to Temple. We should have been undefeated heading into Clemson in 2017 and 11-1 heading into Clemson again in 2018. ... And our schedule in 2019 is as weak, possibly even weaker, than 2018.

Enos did his homework coming here. Just fix the QB spot, and he should have zero problem getting to 10+ wins.
