It's entirely possible that Richt changes nothing or even just very little and hangs his hat on:

1) improved QB & OL play, even if marginally, which itself would be a huge improvement
2) young kids who were playing too many meaningful snaps this year when they weren't ready who next season should begin to settle in with that experience
3) another soft schedule that his team will now not take for granted.

If those things happen and we go 10-2 or 11-1, what will the board angrily complain about then?

They'd complain about those one or two losses.

Don't worry the negative "sky is falling or fallen" posters always find something to complain about on all Canes sights. Even though many of the college football professional experts called UM a 9-3 team in 2018, most Canes fan sites were looking for 11-1 or 10-2. This team was an 8-4 team, just too much youth and a lot of changes from the 2017 team.

I can name a plethora of coaches who would call a better offense for a fraction of those 5 million than your beloved richt's. AND I disagree with you that the issue is @ QB my friend, it goes beyond that and I can prove it with film. The problem lies heavily on the coaching staff who fail to prepare the young men for these game's. I can name multiple occasions in games where our offense wasn't lined up correctly even after a timeout. On top of that our O-Line has 6 False starts and 2 Holding calls in one game but then again according to you the problem is Our QB? In addition explain to me how you have coach Thomas Brown calling out Jeff Thomas and other players locker room cancers to the MEDIA. These type of things can be handled way differently if you ask me, and this just proves that this coaching staff has lost the team. And since you want to weigh on how Richt can right the ship tell me how his own Nephew chooses LSU over Miami? Get over it, Richt is past his prime with play calling this isn't the 1990's where you can get away with no pre-snap motions. Are you not aware that our Defense is the Only reason we even WON 7 Games?
