What do we have to do?

My take

-Get a dynamic offense in Miami. This has held us back the last few years. We need to be fast , explosive, and score in bunches without any remorse for the other team. it’s clear we won’t be an elite recruiting team but richt at least stockpiled us with an elite recruiting class in 2018 especially at the skill positions. With the right oc hire we can be very explosive

-recruit at an ever higher level, Enough with the misses. Get some coaches in there to be able to close. It shouldn’t be this hard where we are striking out on literally everyone we go after this cycle.

-continue to invest in facilities, don’t just sit on the ipf and think the job is done. There is always areas of improvement, a big time locker room renovation is needed considering other instate schools are getting upgrades soon. This is very appealing to recruits and they want the best of the best. Push the envelope, the work isn’t anywhere near done...

-make Miami an attractive school to go to. Turnover chain and 10-0 #2 ranking before the final week of the season was no doubt appealing. We have to continue to push the envelope and be successful on the field. Get rid of these flat games, bad blowout losses in prime time games and bowl game collapses.

- when I was Growing up back in the early 2000s teams used to fear Miami, I dont Get that sense anymore, we need that type of edge back in the program

These are just a few suggestions but what else?

Or we could have just hired BD

I thought that we were already going to be getting a locker room renovation. Is that not happening anymore?

Invest more money, I don’t ever think Miami will make that type of commitment though.

Miami has to be innovative on the field, off the field, work harder on the recruiting trail.

Scouting has to be better, take chances with kids you feel are better than recruiting services say they are.

You have to realize everyone is going to come in and poach kids from S fla you need to win a couple of them battles.

He’s not the answer, maybe if he was 50 or so but he’s far too old. I think Miami has a forward thinking in getting a young coach to put juice in the program in every way shape and form just hope Diaz makes the hires we need to make
Have no problem in saying I think Diaz is a good hire. But I know BD would have been the best hire, but I'm all in on Diaz lets hope he has what it takes

Striking out like we did this year is unacceptable. It should NEVER be this bad too many recruits in the most fertile football breeding ground to be striking out like that

Imma be honest; we need a talent evaluator and we need coaches that can utilize the weapons they have.

Antonio Brown
Marlon Mack
Khalil Mack
Ty Hilton

I’m using these four as a specific example of guys who are in the backyard, yet completely missed w evals. We need guys that see beyond the high school one attends and see them as a player.

We also gotta stop egging up one basket. This staff liking tweets like lil school girls is embarrassing, fa real.

Act like a top program on the field, off the field, and we’ll be treated as such.

How often have we heard top kids say during interviews, “yeah, I’ll get to Miami for a visit. They’re down the street so I can get there whenever.” As soon as that chit is said, move on by looking elsewhere. They gotta learn how to recruit while not over recruiting. It’s like the chick that over flirts; u might be flattered initially, but then that chit becomes corny af and is a turnoff.

What do we have to do?

Just check in here once a month, because no matter how bad it gets, or what the record is, there are still a legion of posters who provide us reasons (we just didn't see) to reveal to us why, "We Back."

Of course most of them weren't, or may have been only recently, born the last time we actually were.

Stop saying that ******* word “back” for starters
Agreed. No way we’re back as long as Bama and Clemson are around and protected by the NCAA And Mark “Douchebag” Emmert. Face it, this clown is being paid to shut up by those two teams and the $EC. Bunch of crooked **** rednecks run CFB and no one can do anything about it.

They’re plan b kids can’t be some lower level UCF/Temple recruits. They have stop putting all ignorant their eggs in the basket on SoFlo kids. If they don’t come , you should still have viable options that are just as talented from Out of state. IMO. Miami can not survive on just local talent anymore
