In hindsight...

Hey Girl!!!!....Your back...Lol....My cousin turned down the UM HC job 3yrs ago....if ya think I'm making that up...feel free to ask @Brooklyndee...Shiano NEVER was a Top choice for HC at UM...stop your ***gotry....Never happened....
Who's your cousin? I should probably be able to figure it out but easier to ask

In hindsight? No. I knew the second he hired his SON it was the wrong hire. it is as if he took the job to give his family member a well paying job. I'm shocked the University allowed it. It's sickening and disgusting

The biggest mistake we made was allowing a man with no ********s to decide who the football HC was going to be.

The Jon hire was questioned by all. The hope was he would learn on the job quickly. But never in my wildest dreams did I feel Richt would show up as Rix level OC. My hope was his offense would be supreme enough to cover up his sons deficiencies. Something like 3-1=2. Instead it’s 0-2= -2.

I was told there would be no math...

If it were me I would take a shot at Charlie Strong. (He has a history of recruiting and developing Florida players - UF, Lou, USF).

Having Butch would be nice to put all of this Butch talk to rest once and for all.

I like Addazio because those BC 2 star players HARD for him. His team's identify is always physicality something we haven't been in 2003.

Dino Barber comes from the Briles coaching tree offensively and runs a attacking 4-3 defense.

Neal Brown Troy's HC might be a good one. Young HC (38). On Pace to win 10 games 3 straight years in a row.

Not that big of a believer in Brohm.

I seriously need to know if you’re suggesting Charlie Strong?

I was actually corrected, he sniffed it in 2002, 2007, 2012. How many coaches have him beat in that department? I can think of maybe 5. Like I said, I’m not happy either but there are definitely worse coaches out there, and he’s not as bad as some us are pretending he is.

In 2007 they didn't win the SEC East. They got smoked @ Tennessee and lost to a 6-6 USCe team at home.

Ok Mr know it all, then who was the favorite and don’t even say butch because everyone knows he wasn’t considered a serious candidate by the admin and was well known here in south Florida that it was just a curtesy interview to shut up a faction of the fan base living in the past like YOU. So who was the favorite bud, since you “claim” to know so much?!

Guess how I know you don't know schit about the last corching search?

Did u watch college football that year? They got hot after losing to Tennessee and were playing like the best team in the country afterwards. It was a down year overall and we had the 1st 2 loss national champ (LSU)

I’m so depressed 1mg! I feel just how I did in 2014 back In the old canespace days. Angry, indifferent, sad, fighting with other canes fans on here just like I was fighting with other canes fans on canespace. Smh I really thought we turned the corner last year but it was mirage and it’s back to hopeless misery. Fu<k!!!
I thought we turned the corner too. And yes, it’s exactly the same **** we got from golden. It’s frustrating but also exhausting. How long are we supposed to keep watching this garbage?

I did, they were never in NC contention after the 2 losses.

They finished #2 in the BCS rankings but I guess that wouldn’t fit the agenda of this thread so whatever u say....

They never had a chance to win the the title, they weren't in the conversation to play in the title game. In those days you had to win your conference, they didn't even play in their conference title game. If they wouldn't have blown the home game vs 6-6 USCe they would have had a shot

Barry Jackson and Manny Navarro are saying there's zero chance he's fired, even next year. However, will be pressure to make offensive changes. I think we all mostly know this but kind of officially confirmed. This is all assuming Richt doesn't get hit by a bus or something.

Goal should be to make him retire... he already looks like ****...

My initial post on this subject stated that “if” there was a 4 team playoff that season “I believe” they would have won it all that year. They were ranked 4th going into bowl season so they would have been in the playoffs and they were playing better than LSU at that point. Alabama has won multiple national championships including last year despite not even playing in their conference championship so that’s not necessarily a deal breaker. The point is Richt has had some great teams, they weren’t all 9-3 etc. Will he compete for championships here? who knows...but he did compete for championships at Georgia
