If that is true then firing Richt gets us nowhere. What that means is Miami is no longer a desirable job. No one, I mean no one was has tried to hire Shiano. Maybe the new facilities and the IPF makes this a desirable job now. But that’s a big if knowing we were down to a Shiano. Best case scenario is Richt hands over the offense to a hot shot OC, Diaz stays on and Richt becomes a good CEO type coach.
what do you mean "no one tried to hire Schiano"? I would have hated him being here 'cause I'm a Butch guy, but Schiano had a contract in hand at TN, when Fullmer and Clay Travis put together a lynch mob, and had TN rescind the hire. In fact, he still walked away with all his money from that contract. What Miami needs are: 1). Good OC. 2) Good OL coach. 3) Good QB coach. 4) Good ST coach.
