Impact on 2014 recruiting class

we currently have 74 scholarship players on team 19 seniors & 25 commitments

if we impose 3 a year, in essence, we only have 2 scholarships left for this class

thoughts?

Plus the sanctions don't apply to 2013-2014. Scholarship reductions start in 2014-2015.
 
we have room for 29(25 for '14 and 4 EE spots available in '13) in 2014

We currently have 25 high schoolers and 2 prep(lockley,
Griffin) committed for 27 total.

We have 2 more spots open to get to 29.
 
There is no way we only get two more commits.

Not with the number of targets left on board.
 
so if we take 25 in the fall does that limit our EE for 2015? Meaning we can't take any early entries in the spring of 2015.
 
This class will end up huge prolly 31 or 32 the reductions are nothing more then a slap on the wrist that won't hurt us at all and will be taken care of through attrition

We can get 29,242 more commits. But We can only enroll 29 in 2014.

Further, only 25 can sign w miami in february.

those are the limits we work with.

We can have EEs in 2015 even if the 2014 class is full (25). They just won't be able to count towards the 2014 class' numbers.

you can have as many EE as you want, you can only allocate a certain amount into the previous year (to compensate for any possible shortage/transfers etc. )
 
of the 25 HS kids, it never stays 100%, so we will lose 1-3 on grades/flips... and then 1-3transfers.... im guessing 4-6 new names will be added to our commitment list by nsd..
 
EE is irrelevant. Point is we are at 75 right now.

let's say 5 attrition

That leaves 51. If we sign 30, and they all make it in, we're at 81. We can sign another class of 30 next year, probably and then maybe a class of 20 the following year and still comply with the penalties. There are a lot of variables, however (attrition, etc).
 
Players will enter the draft early, transfer or be asked to leave. So stop with the numbers and math breakdown,nobody knows anything about our numbers right now. We go through this every year.

The 25/yr has nothing to do with the draft, transfers, or shelter seeking.

So nah, i wont stop. Cant stop.
