  1. OL lacks physicality, cannot pickup blitzes or stunts and are very poor run blockers.
  2. QB! Dude is as inaccurate as a sun dial. No need to tell you it's ***** with that stinch.
  3. OC/Offensive Design! Richt has to hire a OC because he is terrible as a play caller and schemer. Gonna cost us in attracting and keeping top Offensive talent.
  4. DL. Giving up too many chunk yardage runs by rb's and qb's. DE's have not performed like we thought. Knowles should not get on the field past warm ups! Carter might can hit, but he's too slow in coverage, Frierson/Hall would be perfect, put best talent on the field! No more seniority.
  5. Somebody explain to Manny the concept of setting the edge! Stop slanting the DT inside! It creates a natural run lane.
  6. Look, I like Langham and Cager, but ain't nobody telling me either more explosive than Pope. baga already coming at Britt and Tagalova an easy sell.
  7. We play too soft and slow! Play faster and Get more physical.

When is a DT “ever setting the edge” .....

As far as I’m concerned the run defense has been better this season than last. Will say that I didnt like how they let the qb pickup yards rushing when we could have had a negatively play. I blame Diaz as he should have put a spy on him which is how they got yards in the run game really
 
The only real problem is Rosier with some issues on OL. Yeah we don’t have all-americans everywhere on the field but this roster should be able to compete with everyone not named Bama. If we had Will Grier we could run the table with our skill positions.

If we get better and better each week we will be fine. We had no penalties yesterday which is great. I want Diaz to recognize when a Qb run is killing us and account for it. It annoys me when we dont. The OL played better yesterday, and before anyone says its Toledo, Savannah St was stuffing our run in the first Half.

If we run the ball well, we can win big games with Rosier. I think we need move Boulware and Scaife into the lineup. They are better than Jones and Mahoney. Put Scaife at T and move Donaldson back inside

Remove "sisters of the poor" from last week, and tell me where we stand..... I am not saying we're horrible but there still are significant flaws in our game that has to be fixed before we can be a top ten team...

Good thing we don't play a top 10 team for a while.
As the season progresses hopefully this team can do some soul searching and find themselves. Slowly but surely I think we can create an identity on offense and defense. Hopefully get on a streak like at the end of 2016.
 
truth be told we dont even know if richts playcalling is that bad. how many times does rosier miss an open guy? if he was more accurate, we would be racking up points all over the place.
 
To be honest, I don't think were that far off some the next level, the main upgrades needed are:

1) Better OT play - Donaldson is one **** of a guard but is out of position based on needed at OT, St. Louis is average to slightly above average;
2) QB play - MR isn't that far off, if he would make literally 3-5 more completions a game, you'd see this offense fly man;
3) Conceptually on Defense - While I know Manny Diaz is obsessed with his "havoc" plays he often calls very unsound defenses in very inopportune times, he's the DC version of Les Miles, a straight Riverboat Gambler on defense and hoping his players bail him out sometimes - Further to this, when an Offense audibles he stays in the same defense and we get bent over, like to see him have an auto-off call when an offense audibles.
4) ST play - sporadic as they get, field position man. I'm in Canada so we play 3 down ball, I know the importance of STs and what they can do for field position especially with an extra 10 yards of play. If we can get a our net punting average up 5 yards, we gain lots of position over the gameday. Our Punt blocking or assignments is poor, fix that.
