I think it captures what we have been discussing:
9-1 in isolation: **** yeah
9-0, then losing to a mid-GT being outcoached, outplayed and they wanted it more -- in November with a playoff seat in our sites: **** NO!

Where it goes from here dictates the season more than the record in a sense:
Do we rebound and run it out?
Do we win 2 and lose to ACC rookie SMU?
Do we lose and miss the ACC Championship Game, Playoff and play in mid-bowl?

Lots to play for the next few weeks/months -- for this season and more.

Perhaps. Or we could've been a 10 win team. You don't think all the Cam Ward Heisman hype has motivated teams who play us to outdo themselves?

lol no. our d is what it is. was bad the entire season (USF and even some signs with FAMU). they would have lost the games cam has won w the offense. i dont think emory is close to a cam ward and can even come close to repeating his work.

People are hurting that we lost a game we should have won. Against Georgia Tech. Again.

It's understandable. There are a lot worse teams we could have lost to, with FSU and Duke being 1 and 2 on that list.

But that is all it is; annoying. My life did not change one bit and neither have any of your lives.

So relax just a little, maybe go from 100 mph to 65 mph. Hug your families, read some books, do something other than tie up all of your energy into college football. You don’t play, you don’t coach, you aren’t part of the admin or player development staff. You just get to enjoy the entertainment that others provide.

Hey Atl.......your post inspired me as I took time off in my office to read of our angst in such a loss.
I was one of those at 100mph, but I got to say, 65 ain't too bad.
In fact if we approach the fandom as "fans of the Canes" rather than barometers for our moods., there is a perspective that should make us realize this is College entertaiment by great athletes at our beloved school,..........nothing more, nothing less....
And life goes on around us..win or lose..

Yet he beat Clemson last year and **** near beat FSU. The impression that he's a horrible QB isn't necessarily true. FSU would kill to have him on their roster right now.

Do no take that as me claiming he's great. Just that he's not as bad as he's portrayed on here by some.

Mario has flaws you’d be a homer if you say he didnt. He walked into a good situation at Oregon and left it better. It’s hard to fault his first two years when we had actual walk ons playing like Lucius Stanley.

All the jerking off with sandpaper Oregon fans do watching our games. They have yet to win a conference title yet with lanning. Something Mario did twice for them. They’re popping the champagne a little early over a Will Howard slide imo .

I’m numb to it from Diaz and richt. it’s just funny seeing some posters from that era come out of the woodworks. I’m not going to blindly be a homer but i know this program has a good trajectory. Even if you hate Mario we will never have this financial backing again for any other coach (not directed at you).
