I'm Starting to Think Miami Should be FAVORED...whaddya Think of That??

Dawson needs to get back to whats been working the best, leave the trick plays alone…don’t let them key on Toney so much…get Pringle/Marty involved in the swing/screen game and let CJ does what he does on some shots down field..neither of these defenses will be overpowered..to me it will come to which OC calls the best game
Too bad their OC don’t get to call the game 🤣. Think the coaches lost confidence in Marty after that SMU game though. Biggest X factors have to be Brockermeyer and one of the WRs to be that WR2. I know so many people begging for Jojo, but **** it let’s get Josh Moore more involved. Kids a beast and has SHOWN that

F you and your negative responses!!! (ok, sorry...im a little too worked up...please accept apology)...Miami goes into this game with the best O-Line and D-Line...limit mistakes and its all Canes...Canes 24 OSU 13...F IT!!
Maybe not favored by the general public but like many fans are saying Miami is not Iowa, the skill talent should always be more than good enough to empower trenches advantage to a W and an expensive veteran Cane QB should be able to make some throws if * tries to treat him like some Michigan QB who can't throw.

I mean they have significant advantages on paper, in the QB, WR, TE, LB. I’ll give Miami the edge in Offensive Line and RB. The Defensive Line, yea ours is great - but OSU has a great front 4 too. So ill give the Defensive Line and DBs a push.
I would give Miami the edge at QB based on Beck's tremendous amount of experience especially in big games. I also give Miami the edge at OL, RB and DL. I give Taint the edge at LB,WR and TE. The Secondaries are a push.

What’s more likely?
Our ability to score on them vs their ability to score on us.
That’s the game right there.

Mendoza was only able to put 13 points on them. They also had a missed field goal.
The game was in a dome and Mendoza did have some spectacular throws. Not a lot, but a few.

Will we be able to match what Indiana did?

My only concern for this game is our offense.

Our offense will have to play an A game. Nah we should not be favored. Beating a dead horse but would be awesome to have last years offense with this years defense

Jojo?
He’s in lactose jail my man.
they threw a shot play to JoJo last game..but hopefully the Jeremiah head to head unlocks his motivation. I still think if JoJo didnt drop the SMU pass into an interception, he was in middle of busting out. He was about to put up 150 in that SMU game. He dropped that pass, and got buried again.

See this is what people seem to be missing about jojo.
You guys are confusing talent and potential with the intangibles that make a player great. And he apparently hasn’t shown those intangibles.

For the past month and a half every single game that we’ve played has been the most important game for this program in our very 20 years.
And jojo has done nothing.

But somehow he’s gonna be up and ready to go all of the sudden because he’s playing the dude that has overshadowed him since before high school. How many more excuses for motivation are we gonna give him?
Georgia? The title game?
Next year with touchdown Jesus?

Mario was right when he said “I don’t believe in outside motivation”.

This is his second year. Dude isn’t gonna do anything against the best defense we’ve faced.

If anything these are the types of games where superstars show up. We should be worried about Smith going for at least 150 because big time players step……

My t shirt is gonna have more sweat on New Year’s Eve than jojo’s entire uniform. Not because I’m hating on him. But because it’s what he’s shown for 2 years.

What you are hoping for is what myself and others kept on hoping for with mark pope and romello.
And the sad part is that jojo is way more talented than both of them.

Yea Carnell and Jeremiah were both battling injuries the end of the year, they’ll be fully healthy for this game. I want Josh Moore and Tony Johnson to get active. Jojo don’t get to play just bc what he did in hs, it’s what he does on Greentree and show that he wants it

Who’s the best offense Ohio State has played though? We should score the most out of anyone on their schedule but that might not be considered much because the most they gave up in a single game was 16 points to Illinois.

Both teams have great defenses and questionable offense. I wonder if we try getting creative on offense or we follow the TEMU strategy and try to muscle our way in a defensive struggle. Probably the 2nd one.
They played Indiana who has a much better offense than we do. Realize we weren't even a top tier offense in the ACC. We were the 6th best scoring O and the 7th best passing O in a very mid conference. We have trenches but far from an explosive consistent offense that threatens and stresses good defenses.
