Maybe, but OSU played 2 teams with similar talent, barely beat Texas whose QB looked FCS quality, and lost IU.

People think UM payed wake competition, but would do we call Purdue, Wisc, Rutgers and every team on OSU schedule other than IT and IU?
OSU has talent but they haven’t dominated any really good team. They aren’t 2001 Miami.

Not just the name, but the length of time they were on top this year. That's hard for some people to shake. When a team goes on a long run, they are perceived as being great.

A closer look at Ohio State's schedule and one must question how many losses Miami would have had agains that schedule. Would Ohio State be 12-1 with Miami's schedule?

To me, these two teams are more evenly matched than most think.

But what would have to happen?

1. Dawson has to be 2023 vs A&M.
2. Beck has to be on time. Passes behind receivers, late over the middle, not accurate at all on the deep shots will be disastrous.
3. Pringle has to play. Gotta trust him in this game.
4. Three receivers with more than 50 yards receiving.
5. No stupid penalties like unsportsmanlike, intentional grounding.

To score 24, we have to play our best game on offense, imo.
 
Sorry, but Ward and X are playing for the Titans.

If Cam was under center, he'd have the Buckeye Defense running around Jerry's World like Optimist kids. Sometimes you are off a year and can't have the Best Things, so you have to settle for Good Things.
Carson Beck is a Good Thing. He'll be fine and, I suspect, so will the Canes.

Offense needs to show up and be multiple. I don’t think we’ll be able to just lineup and pound them over and over. I can guarantee OSU doesn’t plan on doing that on offense.

I do think A&M OL is better than OSU’s, but OSU’s DL is better than A&M.
