He shouldn't have said anything at that point rather than what he said, because yes he should come out year in and year out expecting 10 wins and demanding excellence in our money making sport rather than acceptable losses. I'm sorry I just can't get on board with anything the front office is throwing out here these past few weeks. Staff changes should've been made after that abomination of a football game in Manhattan, Kansas last year. Certainly he (Golden) doesn't deserve another go around next year after these past two weeks let alone losing to Georgia Tech. Again just my opinion.

Almost everyone can agree that we should have been 10-2, only losing to Nebraska and Louisville. After those two games, we should have learned everything we needed to about ourselves in order to run the table. Everyone would have been pretty happy with that finish considering: an improvement in our record; beating FSU; winning the coastal; playing in our first ACC Championship game (possibly winning it and beating FSU twice), and finishing the season on a 6 game win streak as opposed to a 3 game losing streak!That's how you make the noise go away. You don't ignore it- you silence it your **** self. The sorry excuse of a coach we have will never do that.

There was no justifiable reason for this collection of talent to lose to Loserville or Nebraska.

Did you honestly think we would beat Nebraska on the road in a night game? I understand we have talent, but nothing that Golden has done in 4 years made me think we could win that game

You're out of your depth here. Expecting a loser like Folden to lose to a ****** team like Nebraska doesn't mean that loss is in any way acceptable. It just means that you expect a loser to be s loser.

Do you understand that point because if you don't I can't go any farther trying to help you?

That was my point trying to get across. Nebraska wasn't a great team, but on a realistic note, I did not expect us to win that game based on what I've seen out of Golden in 4 years.

But we **** sure had more talent than everyone else on our schedule. With our talent and weak schedule, anything less than 10-2 is unacceptable. That's what I expect James to say, 6-6 is completely unacceptable, not this you win some, you lose some loser bull****

Amen.....UL, should've been a win (they played w/ a brand new qb, w/o star running back, and w/o star wr along w/ new coaching staff), GT should've been a win (even if it was a close win)....UVA and Pitt goes w/o saying. Maybe I could see a Nebraska loss...but we for sure should've won 10 games this year.

That is what is sickening. Will we win every game right now now. But you should go out and have the mindset you are going to win every game. If you go into the season think ehh 4-5 losses arent so bad you have already lost. You dont go to college work your *** off and get into the NFL just sliding by. A winning record or .500 season isn't what you strive for, you strive to win everything thats how it gets done. This mentality of ohh we cant win them all is a losing attitude and will always become a failure.

I honestly would have been happy with the season had we followed the close loss to FSU with two wins. 8-4 with a true freshman QB, and winning 5 of the last 6 would've been an encouraging step forward. Losing to Virgina and Pitt the way we did is just terrible. I don't believe we are "back" by any stretch of the imagination, and we are not nearly as talented as we need to be to win a title, but we are STILL better than Virginia and Pitt. No excuse for those performances.

No one in their right mind expected 12-0 this year. No one. No one I know expected 11-1. 10-2 would've been asking a heck of a lot with the schedule we played, starting a true freshman. All I wanted was to see us finish the season with two wins. THAT is not asking too much, PERIOD.

The fact of the matter is James, Shalala or the BOT can't give one football reason as to why Golden still has his job. Not one. The only reason he still has a job is because he's either well spoken, or we're too ******* cheap to fire him.

As far as on the field goes, he should've been fired before the season was over. It's clear that Miami higher ups no longer give a **** about fielding a winning, championship-competing program. As long as our players stay out of trouble (which they haven't) and graduate, the fat man has a job.

And that's ******* disgusting.
 
BOT is just trying to get pass the uproar and not spend the money for buy out. Our ONLY weapon is $$$$, as in cost them money. Nobody buy tickets to bowl game. Every ticket you buy saves BOT $$$ they would have to pay because the kept Golden. Nobody should renew season tickets and make sure they know you are not going to. They announce attendance on SOLD or GIVEN away tickets, not actually gate turns. Buying on secondary market just gives them an outlet. If nobody buys the tickets, dealers will not touch them. We have to cut the money flow and embarrass the ACC with empty stadium on TV. I've been going to Cane games for 50 years and it pains me to be this way, but we have no option. This is no longer about Golden, Randy, Coker, or even Donna. The enemy is in the clear and can be seen. It is the BOT. They must be hurt in the pockets.

Including hurting them and embarrassing them by boycotting basketball as well. Pay ANY money to the UM AD and u are part of the problem.

Our coach is below average. our administration is below average. our program right now is below average. And you expect big expectations? GTFOH. We aren't winning s*** until this program does a 180. I'm the last person Blake James wants to have a conversation with.
