That Blue Hens game was competitive, but the locals lost 14-20, to the Jacksonville U Dolphins. As JU plays in a lesser league, the locals were restless. Their situation has some Cane parallels/similarities:

Delaware has 6 NCs (tradition of winning begets high expectations);
Present coach is in his 3rd year (last year 6-6);
Ticket sales & attendance have taken a hit (largest in league 22K stadium needs consistent high attendance to turn profit).

Another bad year by HC Brock and he'll be gone, IMHO.

Meanwhile, on our end, let me voice full support for operation LOSE.

Let's go Bethune. Save our program!

I can't stand golden...prolly wouldn't flinch or even blink if the side car he was riding in became unlactned from ohnofrios motor bike but I will never root for losses

I was at this game. Have to say, that the Ped State student body = bunch of azzholes.
