I did a write up about his show the Sunday after the end of the regular season. It was something like 14 or 15 segments. He never talked about the Miami Pitt game. Never talked about Notre Dame. Spent half the show talking about every SEC open coaching position/hire. Spent a lot of time talking about how Vanderbilt is getting robbed and there's bunch of teams ranked ahead of them that don't deserve to be there.

I've been a fan of Pate but that episode opened my eyes to the fact that he's actually putting on an SEC college football show and not a general college football show.

Gone are his days of being somewhat unbiased. Now he’s hanging with $EC boys, the narrative has shifted.

Ha. This is especially true if you're not the model developer or the stats nerd behind the curtain.

I like Pate but I feel most of these analysts simply just put lipstick on their preconceived notions and hide behind analytics they don't understand.

And to be fair dude has to come up with content every single day

It’s just how it goes. At some point you run out of **** to talk about or possible thoughts and you’re gonna have to say weird stuff
