I'm calling out anyone who doubted RB Mark Walton

Not that I am not pulling for the kid cuz I am pulling for every **** one of them, but has he even played a down of college football yet??????

Agreed, but that goes double for the many who have been bashing the kid, saying he's average, that we have a poor backfield, etc....all because he's the one that ended up on this team. If we "missed" on him he would have been another great one that the staff screwed up on getting according to them.

lol i don't remember people calling Walton average. he is widely regarded as the best player in this past recruiting cycle by far

You should see some of the threads, such as the Gus Edwards thread and the Walton vs. Scarlett thread. A bunch of the usual suspects are on there talking about how Walton is average, and Yearby is average (basically as yet another reason for them to attack the staff). But if Yearby went to FSU or Walton went to another school, you can guarantee those same posters would be talking about how awesome they are and how we "missed" on them.

I was reading a lot of people saying Scarlett is better. What a joke.

It doesn't matter who is better. You are missing the point. Fans were ****ed that Golden went 1 for 4 on the in-state stud RB's .. especially considering giving away Brandon Powell the year before. It's not about Walton. Never was.

AguanoHurricane trying a new angle on his last failed troll account. This must be part of the positivity and "football talk" movement.

Mark Walton sucks. I hope he reads the board so he can see that we all think he sucks. Jordan Scarlett should've been here. Not this bum

The fact that Scarlett left becuase he was afraid he wouldn't see the field when Walton reclassified should tell you all you need to know. Either someone close to him or the coaches told him how it is. Scarlett has amazing talent but Walton will be our back of the future and yearby is a **** of a backup /situational back. Can't be mad at coaching Staff for not being able to keep four div 1 caliber starting rb all in one class. People want playing time

Yearby a backup?

If you're looking for a track star take scarlett, if you want a football player take Walton. simple as that

"VivaElCanes" is an odd screen name for Mark Walton to choose. I guess he's trying to throw us off

I called him out as being SOLID that is all he will ever be...I like Mike James better...I will give you that he has elite hands out of the backfield...thats the only thing he has thats elite...

Their Co starters now. I'm just of the belief by the end of the year that Walton will pull ahead

I'm not gonna lie when we had Scarlett Dexter & Cronkite then walton re classified to 2015.... i wasn't optimistic and put him behind both Scarlett and Williams.. i was mad cause I knew 2 were out the door when he re classified.

4 went to 1 and now we're depending on him. Yeah I didn't think he was better than Scarlett & Williams... we'll never know cause they're not here. Now we have no choice but depend on him.

I hope he does excell this year because I didn't have faith in him before signing day. I hope he lives up to the ones that were very high on him from day one expectations because we need the youngin'.

Damnit Mane

Why isn't OP banned?
I believe calling out other posters is a direct violation of the rules here. I have to admit though I couldn't have possibly predicted Walton would rack up 20-30 yards on the practice field this year. No one saw that coming. Kid is a star.
