Ignore the Noise

Sad to see players having to ignore their fans. No wonder no one wants to come here.

He should make a shirt that says "Through 2019, b!tches!"

For you Al...

Boy, are we a mess! The program, the admin, the former players, the fans, everything..

The whole damned school is a mess and it's been that way forever. We were just lucky with the football program for a few years back in the '80's and'90's and 2001. Unfortunately the old timers know what we see now is the norm.

Golden is desperate to save his job. All the excuses, throwing players under the bus, sending out his foot soldier Kehoe to quiet former players, now this.

All signs of a desperate man, clinging to save his job.

Just my opinion as to why Golden is how he is (nothing about if he's right or wrong):
First he received his Masters in Sports Psychology. He is process oriented. Because of this, an aspect of sports psychology is following a process and ignoring everything else including the results.
He is likely teaching that if everyone follows the process and does their job on the field, in the weight room, nutrition, focus, intensity, etc that the results will take care of itself.
When they win or do well on a play, he reinforces that it's because of the process. Trust what you're taught, do your job, don't freelance and you'll get the result you want.
When the result is unfavorable, he likely goes back to show where they failed to do in the process, so by not following keys or not aligned as taught or not trusting that their teammate will do their job (freelancing).
So by having the players ignore the noise, the outcome of the game, it's because it takes their focus away on their process/preparation. If players think they have to do more than their job, they could lose sight of what their supposed to do and that is take care of what they are supposed to do only.
Golden doesn't want to lose. He just wants the guys to believe that if they do what they're supposed to, do their best the wins will come. That it becomes routine that they stop thinking about it and enjoy the moment.
He's not the type that'll say we're going to kick so and so's ***. He'll say, focus, do your job and you'll see wins. That's why he'll stick to his guns even until the ship sinks.
Now if his coordinators can call better games...

But his process and preparation sucks, so it doesn't matter. He has them in the bunker learning dumb **** that doesn't work. It makes it even worse

Give him the title Head Process Coordinator and pay him a consulting fee of $40k for each season, have him apply his process to player personal development.

Have him develop a process for himself on how to become a Championship coach and then have him ply his wares on an FCS team somewhere.

Scrap the process technology for Canes football, its obviously a FAIL.

Hire Butch who is a part of the former dynasty and understands being a Champion.

Championship football is Miami Hurricane Football and that will never change!

I'm sorry boys, but these players don't deserve some of what I'm reading. The guys that get paid, fair game.

Call me a slurper, but I root hard for the kids. Most of them will still be here if anything happened with the staff.

I think some of you are so upset with Golden that the collateral damage caused by it is not warranted at all.

Not one person who is anti-Folden has said anything negative about the players. The only people trashing the players are their coaches and the nerds still leeching on Folden's sack. The guys who want Folden out feel badly for the players and are sick of seeing them thrown under the bus by the coaches and fans of the coaches.

THIS! His process is *** cheeks. The kids have completely bought in, as he stated this past summer, and no matter how hard they try, there is no succes to be had with Goldens philosophy/coaching.

Exactly.

The only thing you'll hear from the anti-Golden crowd is that our players deserve better.

The only ones who talk trash about our players are their weak-minded coaches.

I've seen zero support of the players from the anti Golden side other than little tidbits I see every now and again. Also seems like the kids are an afterthought to guys just wanting their team they root for to be relevant again.

I see what you are saying Chise, but everything that's been done to show how unsupportive the base is of Golden has completely crapped all over these players.

Don't aerie he went to 100 colleges n has 40 masters, piece a paper doesn't mean ****. So the chef that went to shoo to make food cooks better than the lil corner spot?

I go by results and his results are losses and he waited way kin two years long to fire his buddy. They both gotta go.

I completely disagree.

The reason the anti-Golden crowd is so vocal is because we know that the talent we have is better than what we're seeing on the field. We feel that our players our being misused and our ****** coaches are costing them money by using them improperly. Not only that, but our ****** coaches have thrown our players under the bus more than once blaming lack of execution and lack of talent (at safety of all places).

They're incompetent, weak-minded, untrustworthy, lack-of-accountability, excuse-making ******** who don't belong in Miami.
