If UM did fire Alice FOlden, we should hire.......

To all delusional CANE fans, Butch will NEVER be hired in Miami. He left unceremoniously and screwed UNC.

One more point, the most that we are paying for a coach is 2.1-2.3 million so Gundy is not coming, Fedora sucks and would be costly.

My list;

Chud ( is Miami and great OC)
Cristobal (Is MIA, knows the area, is getting great experience at Bama, but ****ed people off)
Schiano (From the MIA, recruits well, did great things with Rutgers)

Outside chance

Stoops (FSU and Kentucky experience and comes from pedigree of coaching)
Lane Kiffin (great recruiter, everyone hates him, might be cheap and has a chip on his shoulder to prove everyone wrong)

Remember cheap and young!
 
if miami cans golden -- as much as we wont like to hear it -- expect to hear Cristobal name being floated out there as fav.

Why because he slapped UM with his cack recently? He is not qualified to coach. He isn't going to be on any real list other then ones started by retarded posters and illogical journalists.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Rich Rod. Is made for this type of job. Michigan was too quick to fire him and he wasn't a fit. He's proven he can coach though. Would have to commit to an adequate DC though.

Butch would be nice but don't know if it's realistic.

Even if most think Schiano, Cristobal or Kiffin would be a joke, it's still better than Golden.
 
I would exhume the body of Vince Lombardi over Golden. This team is an utter disgrace on the field. To get embarrassed by a bad 4-6 UVA team would be the nail in the coffin for a coach. This admin does not care about winning football. I will not renew my tixs next year if this clown is back.

The quick fix would be to hire Butch and let him groom his successor for the long term. Louisville brought back that scumbag Petrino because they care about winning. UM football is dead.
 
Mark Stoops would be nice as he already has a Miami connection.

Going to the pro rank as Buffalo's season has tumbled terribly Doug Marrone could be available and he's done decent as a college coach.

I also wouldn't mind giving Coley a chance. He's a recruiter, he's loved in Florida, and I'm sure he could surround himself with a soliid cast and would bring back a 4-3 co-ordinator.
