If Toney....

Sayin isnt great but hes good enough to get Smith the ball. But will the true freshman QB be able to? Smith doesn’t do punts, passes, or run the ball….so he’s pretty dependent upon a passer passing him the ball. Even if Sayin was healthy, there is always other ways Toney can impact games…things that Smith doesn’t do.

I agree, especially if that OSU offense struggles in any way.

Notre Dame will be Toneys chance to take it away.

Malachi may have to break off some iconic punt return TDs to take the lead. Something I think he will do eventually.

Maybe do some Malicat TD runs and throws.

Smith ain’t doing any of that.

Stats like he had yesterday when we play ND...give him the Heisman the race will be over. His only competion will be his QB.
Agree 200% but I hate to admit their def is better than pitts. They will do whatever they can to make someone else a playmaker. But if he does?

Smith will win it without Sayin. Everyone will say he would have ungodly numbers if Sayin was playing

If Smith maintains his current stats with a backup QB, gonna be tough.

Thankfully that's very unlikely. I think one of our guys lifts the trophy, especially if we beat ND.

Early last year they threw quick screens to JS before they started opening up their playbook for sayin in the few games i watched
