If Toney....

Sayin isnt great but hes good enough to get Smith the ball. But will the true freshman QB be able to? Smith doesn’t do punts, passes, or run the ball….so he’s pretty dependent upon a passer passing him the ball. Even if Sayin was healthy, there is always other ways Toney can impact games…things that Smith doesn’t do.

I agree, especially if that OSU offense struggles in any way.

Notre Dame will be Toneys chance to take it away.

Malachi may have to break off some iconic punt return TDs to take the lead. Something I think he will do eventually.

Maybe do some Malicat TD runs and throws.

Smith ain’t doing any of that.

If Smith maintains his current stats with a backup QB, gonna be tough.

Thankfully that's very unlikely. I think one of our guys lifts the trophy, especially if we beat ND.

Early last year they threw quick screens to JS before they started opening up their playbook for sayin in the few games i watched

Smith will win it without Sayin. Everyone will say he would have ungodly numbers if Sayin was playing
This. And even with Sayin out he’ll put up some kind of numbers.

I don’t see any way the Heisman voters don’t give it to Smith, who is going to finish his career as the all-time Big Ten leader in TD catches and yardage, and be Ohio State’s greatest receiver of all time.

You guys are crazy.

Players don’t get benefits of the doubt with hypothetical numbers due to teammates being injured.

Especially if they lose a couple more games.

Maybe if they find a way to win out but even then it would be difficult.
