Redshirts can still play 4 games and Manny mentioned there have been some talks of that being moved up to 6 this year due to circumstances. If a player sits out they cannot contribute at all

I'm just saying, if you know you aren't going to play, why not take this year to simply work on yourself? Then next year you can do the 4-6 game redshirt. This is a guaranteed extra year, no questions asked. For those that can benefit from an extra year, let them take it.
