Why can't they backfill the position that was created for Cristobal a couple years back with like a Butch, Soldinger, TRob, or someone else?

Al could save his career and our program by hiring Butch as DC and turning over control of defense and defensive recruiting to him. Then when Butch make defense a killing machine again, Al can say; "Finally, the player have gotten it" and take all the credit. Then maybe someone will hire him.

It's tough to imagine Butch working for Al Golden.

I bet he would in a heart beat. The dude is dying to get back into the game and he knows he can create wins for Golden until Golden leaves for his dream job then the job could be his again
