If the people want Jurich then demand Jurich

If we don’t get Jurich it will mainly be because he refuses to acquiesce to political preconditions before taking the job. If you’re an AD makes no sense to take a job where your Football & Baseball coaches are pretty much already predetermined for you, even for good pay not having autonomy makes the job more difficult to manage because if things go wrong you just end up the scapegoat when none of it was even you’re idea in the first place.

If we get Jurich it’s because he assured them he’ll follow protocol as they see fit, which can be both a good & bad thing, depending on how you look at it.

Exactly, that has been my point. Thank you. Who with any balls, would want to take a job that puts those balls in a vice. Jurich is a big balls guy. He feels any restrictions BEFORE he’s hired , Bubye. This defeats the purpose of the hire. BOT provide the money, make the hire, stand down and give the guy some ball room.

Probably more likely BOT members become reluctant to go with Jurich in fear of the perception they’re so incompetent they need to listen to fans to do their job.

I’m not a blind believer, I have no reason to be. Yes things are looking much brighter than they have in a long time, but until it actually happens I’m not going to drink the Kool-aid.

Also, people usually misinterpret my every word on here because I’m way more objective than most.

I’m fine bruh, I’ve seen way worse situations & because I analyze our situation without Orange colored glasses it confuses people. Basically because I’m not a homer people think I’m more upset than I actually am lol I just look at the situation for what it is & not what I want it to be 🤷🏽‍♂️

I like to think I’m objective as well. Maybe bordering on pessimistic. And I’m excited.

But I feel you. Hopefully they announce something we like and we can all crack open that bottle that we’ve been saving for something special.

Hopefully the announcement comes this weekend, because time is wasting. I have no faith with this BOT of idiots, honestly... Money and a college degree of some sort does not make you smart.

I’m excited at the prospect of a new coach...

But I’m not delusional at the idea that we’re all of the sudden about to start ripping off titles & playoffs runs lol

There’s a lot of steps before we get to that point & it’s easy to prematurely jump the gun. I remember when we were in prime position to go on a run coming off the 2017 season & the excitement for 2018 & then the actual games happened lol...

So basically we're screwed either way it goes? Sounds like if we get Jurich, he'll be a shell of himself with no real decision making power....which sort of negates the point of actually hiring Jurich.....why us smh
 
I love how our fans spend weeks begging for a particular coach or hire. Then get confirm by alleged insiders only to be crushed. With all that being said the next AD will be....

I want Jurich because he checks every box possible. And, he gets us Pitino. I ******* need 5 years of Pitino March Madness man. I need that **** .

Is Jurich the only good candidate? Chun is younger, hired Kiffin and got hired away by WSU. Baylor AD is also good.
