This post shows how football illiterate you are. A large percentage of 5* Qbs don’t develop into anything and wind up transferring. Look at NFL rosters and you will see more qbs starting that we’re 3*s then 4 and 5*’s combined.5 star qb??? Umm yeah.
That don't rate mofos 5 stars because they're development projects. He isn't the first successful OC that couldn't turn this guy into an all american. Ryan Day and Dan Enos? Couldn't pay for better college tutelage. Where has all the money and coaching gotten Tate at this point in his career? On the **** bench and he ain't getting younger.
Never say never - UCF absolutely a better fitHe will never start QB at a P5. If Enos cant fix his issues they can't be fixed. That guy made Jalen hurts look like a qb.
Or how about if QB1 can stay QB1. I love how all these people want to crown him the Canes Savior are also going to the the first ones to go after his scalp if he struggles against UF.We got the number one question answered during the off season, and already we need to speculate on QB2. Can't we just enjoy having an answer?
yep..and the best opportunity might very well to just stick it out here and learn from Enos for his whole career..getting some nice back up minutes and becoming the best qb he can be.
Martell gets zero burn at any position except QB.
Some real doofuses around here.
You speak as if Hurts was awful. He will never start QB at a P5. If Enos cant fix his issues they can't be fixed. That guy made Jalen hurts look like a qb.
Being serious, he’s an athlete. Why not try him at a different position?

Have you ever seen him try and catch a pass? Psst.Slot receiver is his money position
His supposed "elite" athleticism has been vastly overstated on this board.
He's not a slot WR, he's a QB that can scramble pretty well.
Tate could stay & continue to work, it's possible he's the QB2 & will still have a chance to play this year, it's way too early for anybody to write him off just yet.
But if he's not the backup then he should transfer somewhere to a system that fits his ability, he would actually do well at programs like Miss St, Cuse or Penn St, they all run offenses that utilize the QB as apart of the run game heavy.
He has speed and may know how to catch. Could be another Berrios type.Being serious, he’s an athlete. Why not try him at a different position?

Had a friend mention Mississippi with Rich Rod running the offense. Seems like a great fit.His supposed "elite" athleticism has been vastly overstated on this board.
