You do realize this has been the norm for over 15 years, right? The sooner everyone realizes what #TNM really is, the sooner we can move on.

MIAMI HAS SUCKED FOR 15 YEARS. DUKE HAS BEAT MIAMI 3 OUT OF THE LAST 5 YEARS. MIAMI LOST TO FIU BEFORE THEY LOST 20 GAMES...IN A ROW. MIAMI WAS SHUT OUT BY LOUISIANA TECH. AND THAT'S JUST RECENT MEMORY.

Stop with this Not ACcepTablE crap when this is the norm. Give the guy three years and then circle back and how far down we are.
I said this in another post and got laughed at. We still have players on this roster who LOST to FIU and La Tech. But they are somehow magically suppossed to be better because we changed coaches?

Agreed.

As well, its fair to point out that Duke's previous head coach was David Cutcliffe, a guy who was known for running a solid program for many many years. The Canes previous head coach was a guy who had no experience in the role and was shown to be running a lackadaisical program rooted in unaccountability. Perhaps there's something to be said about the cultural starting point of each first year coach. Perhaps...
It's Duke with a roster full of nobody that we would offer doesn't matter if bill belichek was the previous coach we should beat them easy

They also won 5 games in two years if the argument is we have a terrible culture that fostered and allowed losing then what the **** is 3 win and 2 win season where you get blown out of the water? Don’t tell me cutty couldn’t win more bc he did at duke. He built the worst roster in the p5. Elko is doing a great coaching job for what was one of the worst p5 openings.

But look how we are getting beat. We aren't just getting out schemed, the players are consistently losing one on one battles against the other teams players. Missing one on one blocks or getting pushed back, fumbling, missing tackles, getting beat in coverage.... The players are not beating the players across from them.
Why is that? What is it that you think coaches actually do? How do you think players actually get better at doing all these things?

No one can honestly claim MT has more talent...so the issue must be something else other than talent. That something else, no matter what you think it may be, is ultimately going to relate back to coaching.

you guys used all this culture nonsense here due to years of losing but somehow a duke team that won 5 games in 2 years is somehow absolved from having bad culture bc Elko out coached and his players out played ours? which is it? again, the culture isnt great but thats a crutch to excuse what were seeing on game day bc duke was the worst p5 team in the country the last 2 years. losing breeds bad culture.
disagree. You are assuming the kids Cutcliffe brought in are of the same mental and emotional makeup as the kids Diaz brought in. I'd beg to differ there is no comparison... Elko had a much higher starting point....
